Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City have been given age ratings for the PlayStation 3.

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has re-classified the PS2 originals, listing the PlayStation 3 as the release platform.

Although Rockstar is yet to make an official announcement, the ratings appear to indicate a PlayStation Network re-release.

Fellow PS2-era title Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas did not feature on the list, however.

The commemorative Grand Theft Auto III: 10th Anniversary Edition was released on mobile devices late last year.

Available on multiple iOS and Android devices, the game featured updated visuals, as well as touchscreen controls and autosave functionality.

PS2 classics better than nothing but it would have looked great with the PS3 current graphics:).

They should just make HD collections of the 3 games instead of releasing them on PSN

No it wouldn't considering they'd just be a direct port from the PS2.
It would still be the same graphics and stuff.

It would be much better. Previous gen games look ugly as hell when pushed on to a HDTV without a proper HD update. My Xbox copy of Vice City looked awful when I played it on the 360.

HD collections kick ass. I want more of them.

I'm pretty confident GTA VI will be in Vice City anyway, if they just skipped it after remaking Liberty City and now Los Santos, they would just be kicking alot of fans in the balls.

I still have GTA 3 and GTA VC for PS2 but the console broke before I got my PS3:(, glad I will get to play on them again now.

I'm glad they're not doing any updates on the games,I still remember the awful Resident Evil 1 remake on the Gamecube.

Not imo it wasn't,the game was completely different to the original so it was a waste of time.
