Davina, who hosted the show for 10 years on Channel 4, admitted the continued success and longevity of the show took her by surprise.

Now set for a 13th series in the summer, the telly host confessed to Radio Times that she wanted to be fronting the programme again!

“I kept thinking: ‘Gosh, I should be there, what’s going on?’” she told the magazine.

The success of the most recent Celebrity Big Brother is sure to sting Davina, with the programme regularly beating her current Channel 4 and Sky One shows The Million Pound Drop and Got to Dance in the ratings

I think even if you tried to be awful you still wouldn't be worse than Brian Dowling at presenting.

I don't mind Brian, he is my fav all time house mate and is improving with each episode. His mincing on the stage does put a smile on my face and he has two BBs under his belt. Brian IMO is a nice lad and a true BB fan even if he isn't the best presenter in the world. :)

Comparing Brian now to how he was on the launch night of CBB8 he has come on leaps and bounds, big brother is not the easiest of formats to get to grips with presenting. Plus Brian is a massive big brother fan.

I still would rather Brian, Davina has had her time on the show and as I have said before she became a turn off almost for her presenting and eviction interviews in her last 3 series in the main.
Near all her eviction interviews in the last 2 series she did were very poor and never reflected the publics views at alldespite them being the people who voted the housemate out.
