View Full Version : My opinion of Denise has changed....... and I feel a fool

I have re watched Monday nights episode 3 times now and I've also watched bots.
At first I felt that Denise was the bad one and she was at fault for everything I now have changed my opinion and feel that I had already had my mind up by the many threads about Sunday nights "fight" and the many anti Denise threads being bandered about.
In my opinion the twins were In the wrong for reacting like they did, although they did simmer down once they had had there camera time.
Nicola was the worst for me, she was trying to involve others in the fight but to no avail so decided to scream and shout alas Micky Graham at the top of the stairs then she pissed off into the bedroom and cried whilst looking at the letter from home, knowing fully well the cameras were on her.
Denise was the only housemate that seemed to show any emotion, well any real emotion anyway.
However much Denise seems to be a wreck when drunk I've realised that aren't most people?
Another thing about that night was the apparent saviour that was frankie. Did I hear right that the boys were telling him not to say anything etc and frankie just turned around and said I'm just winding them up?
It seemed to me that the 3 popular girls in school were attacking the lesser popular girl. Paramount to bullying
I'm not condoning the pants pull. However as has been posted before one of the twins had already lifted her top up and you could say the twins are a little promiscuous to say the least.
So Denise I sorry and I hope you win now.

You have seen the light !!!! and I agree 100% it was sheer bullying 3 onto 1 is always bullying and at one time I thought one of the twins(white jumper) was going to hit her, she got very close to her face ,can you imagine the boos these 3 are going to get tomorrow night?I wonder if they will say its canned boos as they did last week :joker: ,and yet they have both said they expect it to be Denise and Frankie out tomorrow !! how arrogant ? do they think the public will defend their actions? if they do they are in for a BIG shock

Shilpa won so we, as a country, could try and right some wrongs inflicted upon her in the house. The Shilpa case is very different to Denise. The whole racism issue was massive in the whole country
Denise has been bullied? I don't think she has at all. Michael did his best to avoid her, but she kept picking away at him bit by bit.
Denise instigated it last night. The twins were too dramatic, but there was no bullying.

I totally agree with this 100%
...so..let me see...if a girl pulls her top up, what she's really doing is saying it's ok for someone else to pull her pants down. In a club, where most would have had a few drinks if I saw a girl pull her top up and flash her bra...she would be giving me permission to pull her pants down, not just me..but anyone that felt like having a drunken laugh. Oh...but this wasn't in a club of about 200 people...this was on National TV..in front of thousands of people...oh, that's different then...

Right, I'm going to point two things out because it seems nobody is mentioning them and they seem quite important to me:
After Denise pulled Karissa's pants down, Karissa went into the kitchen, Denise went over, started kissing her, Karissa said she was pissed about it but Denise kind of brushed off how Karissa felt about it and kept saying "you'll forgive me".
When Nicola was trying to take Kristina outside to calm her down etc, Denise and then Frankie carried on talking, which led to them coming back in and Nicola getting involved.
Basically Denise doesn't realise when to stop, she just carries on and carries on, she did it with Michael and she did it with Nicola and the Twins. If she had stopped when Karissa was in the kitchen, or even when Nicola was taking Kristina outside then it would have been fine but of course, she didn't...so it wasn't.

Well said...everything stemmed from Denise's behaviour when she's had a drunk and that she doesn't know where to draw the line....but she's never once accepted any blame or STOPPED drinking ...she keeps on...every ****ing night

Never heard of him!! :hmph:
So it's the twins fault for reacting the way they did, not Denise's fault for instigating the whole thing. Oookay.
Nicola tried to seperate Kristina and Denise so it wouldn't escalate. The drunken hag wouldn't let it lie then Frankie stuck his beak in so Nicola thought, right ****** it.
Denise's emotion was as fake as the twins t!ts and used to manipulate the group into giving her sympathy.
Most people i know are happy drunks. Denise is a trainwreck when she drinks. She gets aggressive and acts inappropriately.
That wasn't bullying, you cheapen the meaning by using that term in this instance.
The twins aren't one person you know.
Kristina flashed her bra. Karissa didn't.
You say that you don't condone it but you then try and justify the incident by saying one of the twins lifted her top. You also assume they are promiscuous. And if you weren't trying to justify it why even mention those things?
Frankie's the slag by the way. (90 women and counting...) :idc:

The slight was not against the poppadom, and that misses the whole issue spectacularly. You don't have to use the race of the person in order to be racist, and Jade was racist. It's disappointing that you can't see how how racist Jade was, but you've got your opinion and I doubt I could change that in one paragraph.

You could see the cogs turning in Karissa's (?) head after her pants were down. From laughing at it, then acknowledging the context of the situation and becoming progressively agitated, threatening to sue etc. It comes down to the fact that she doesn't want to show anything on TV she is not paid for. She has mentioned many times needing to have additional contracts (ie. compensation) for "extras" she does not feel BB is entitled to for the pay she received. The OTT reaction was a drunken temper tantrum, I held it on track to their character, it didn't change my opinion of them. But Nicola should take a taste of her "you will watch this back and regret your actions" medicine.

I asked you to research, not the events of the series, but why that could be classed as racist.
You made the point that poppadom is not a race, not me. Why are you so anti discussing this with me? You have a valid opinion (in your own mind) then you should be more than happy to justify it. I defended you in another thread about you being racist against the Americans (a least I think it was you, but apologies if it isn't), so I do not have any issues with you at all.

That is my view also, Denise just wouldn't let go so I don't see where all this Denise sympathy is coming from, she still won't admit that she did anything wrong, as always with Denise it was just "fun" well people have different ideas of "fun" and she should be more aware of other people not just me, me, me all the time - disgusting woman.

It looks like waterworks works on some people.
Absolutely right. Denise has played the public way more than the Twins have. Denise also plays her husband, her friends and family and her fans, all of whom have enabled her unacceptable behaviour for years to the point that she thinks she can get away with it whenever she wants, and people just have to "forgive" her. Why should Denise seek help for her problems when she has shed loads of apologists explaining on her behalf why she is a poor ickle victim that nobody "gets"? Why is it everyone else's fault that they have no sense of humour and situations go tits up when Denise wants to get rat a*sed and come out to play. Everyone is expected to "understand" Denise - WHY FFS? There's nowt to understand really, she is as shallow as a puddle of cheap wine.
I'm actually starting to feel a bit sorry for Denise because it is abundantly clear that people enjoy laughing AT her - she is a figure of fun now and someone to be pitied, and whose fault is that? I'd say it's the fault of those who continue to make excuses for her, which gives her no incentive whatsoever to seek help for her alcohol addiction. If you're a depressive like Denise, the last thing you need is to be on the sauce continually. It's all going to end in tears if those who care about her don't rein her in. Who will they blame then? Not themselves I bet:idc:

Most people, when something unexpected, or unwanted, happens, your brain goes through a series of reactions. This process isn’t exactly helped by the addition of alcohol.
She was shocked at first, unsure how to take it. But she did stand up and walk away from Denise and let her feelings be known. Eventually broke away from the group and went to the kitchen area, where Denise followed her, the twin asked for it to be dropped. Denise as usual didn’t seem to be listening. The twin then went out to the garden and seemed to get into a real stew about what had happened, stormed into the diary room, where she lost the plot altogether.
It was a logical progression, following the stages of anger. Shock, with a bit of embarrassment, followed by an outburst of rage and with a lot of melodrama thrown in.
My only question on this is if it happened on the normal BB, with a “normal” girl, how would the public react? A 50 something year old woman, with alcohol issues, pulling down a 20 something year old’s pants, during a song and dance? If everyone was honest about it, there would be serious repercussions.
However because of the 20 something year old in question, people are happy enough to pin the blame on her, just as much as the 50 something year old. And that doesn’t make sense.
Considering we CAN'T vote the twins out I imagine they could survive tonight.

This post is spot on.
Denise did wrong. But rather than walking away from the situation, she kept on and on about it. Then used Nicola as a deflection for her own bad behaviour.
The "argument" became more about Nicola pushing the button than Denise pulling down the pants of one of the twins...

Great post.
Who cares. Denise wiped the floor with the scabby Nicola which is all that matters really.

i wish someone would knock the violins off, denise is as scheming, manipulative and self serving as as the other girls. Im not fooled maybe karissa did use a situation to her advantage however who creates all these situations?..denise.
Again spot on.
Most of the "fights" and "uncomfortable" moments of the series have been caused by Denise drinking, then doing or saying something stupid. We then witness Denise crying in a puddle, blaming everyone else and telling the world that no one understands her.
The problem is that we do.
She has a drinking problem and has no sense of boundaries.

Yeah...
Denise used the events of a few days ago as ammo to dig herself out of ANOTHER hole. She attempted to shame someone else rather than face up to the FACT that yet again her drinking had caused problems.

A lot of it revolved around Nicola's name calling of Denise.
You mean the "liar" comment?
Where a few hours earlier there was a question whether Denise's buzzer was working, or if she was involved in a secret task?
Something that Denise felt so strongly offended by, that she waited for hours, until she got drunk, did something stupid (again), then attempted to play the victim by lashing out at Nicola. Deflecting the responsibility of her actions by shaming someone else?
Pure class, from the bottom of a bottle...

Exactly she went on the attack when she felt attacked...
The argument started because of Denise.
Nicola tried to get twin #2 out into the garden, but Denise and Frankie kept the fighting up.
Denise then said that she didn't see what the big deal was, because twin #1 "takes her tits out for a living". Which showed her true feelings on the matter and her very unapologetic stance. However that statement enraged ex-glamour model, Nicola. Who quite rightly started to argue that past actions do not make it ok to pull someone's clothes off.
To which Denise started whining and whaling about Nicola pushing the button and been called a liar. This had nothing to do with the original argument, she just used it as ammo to divert the conversation. And it allowed Denise to play the victim, rather than the aggressor.
The woman attempted to shame another woman into silence, rather than deal with her own actions.
Amazing how Denise seems to be clearly able to remember every slight against her. But seems completely unable to understand why her own actions might have been inappropriate. The woman uses the "victim" role so effectively that she uses it to attack.

Well done....its not easy to come on here and change opinions without getting a little bit of slaughtering.
I have watched it again too and the twins reaction showed a lot of thoughts about how they could turn the situation into a huge drama.... they are such hypocrites and have such double standards....and Denise maybe shouldnt have done what she did because they are on national TV and she doesnt know them that well to be able to be that risque....however Denise and her pals probably do quirky things like that when she has had a few drinks with her mates and the environment and mood of the night...girlie night etc she probably felt she was amonst some pals and forgot where they were.... harmless fun and I hope that the whole ploy of discrediting Denise backfires on those three bitches and that Denise wins loads of support over it.

A few people on this forum could do with watching this episode again as a neutral and then see what tere opinions are on the matter.
I still stand by the Denise did wrong comments but for 3 bitches/cows to then attack her in such a away that the men felt so uncomftorble they stayed quiet is shocking.
I've now decided that a vote for Romeo everyone I've voted for Denise is a vote well spent.
So far I've spent about 10-15 quid saving Denise and about 3 quid saving Romeo. I would be so happy to have Denise the last women standing on Friday.

So when will Nicola and the twins tell their horrifying story of their fears for their implants?
And I bet nicola will be inches from death when she is checked out
Exactly she went on the attack when she felt attacked...
The argument started because of Denise.

Denise then said that she didn't see what the big deal was, because twin #1 "takes her tits out for a living". Which showed her true feelings on the matter and her very unapologetic stance. When Nicola tried to get one of the twins out into the garden she stopped at the door and said to denise, "if you want to keep on arguing I'll just let her back in" Denise said nothing but frankie did, Nicola then walked away letting the twin back in the house.
Denise only mentioned the buzzer thing when prompted to by Nicola..don't forget Nicola called Denise a liar no less than seven times in the bedroom, mocking her infront of everyone!

Alcoholics are brilliant at manipulation, and switching the focus of their misdimenours onto others....(Denise is so like my own mum was).
Watch the tape again......and dont be so hard on yourself...
1. "Well you do get em out for a living".....sit back enter Nicola no second invitation required....:conf:
2. I've been keeping quiet about a few things on here....:conf:

4. Did you not say that about them..........:conf:
5. I've had your back all this time.........few crocadile tears should do it..
Great performance Denise.....they all nearly forgot what you did..:xyxwave:
