Thats three out n out lies I've heard him tell, the last one being last night saying that nicola HAD consulted everyone before she shredded the letters.

Not at all, Michael said he would back her up if she did it, because if she hadn't, he would have. That's the only reason he commented at all in last night's argument.

Lordy - for those giving all the comments that were said AFTER the button was pushed: I said in my op about nicola not consulting everyone before she shredded the letters.

The comments given AFTERWARDS do not count as consulting. She was already on her feet and doing it while she said she was going to do she didnt wait for anyone's comments. She didnt give anyone time to speak.

As big brother were reading out the rules Kirk said 'oh they can have their letters' then a few seconds later someone else says 'I'm not saving mine' then nicola says 'they havent got children, people with children should have the letters. Go, I'm doing it, I want my letter. She does not 'consult' them at all she TELLS them she's going to do then immediately does it.

And michael lied about it.

It seems to me the main reason for Denise's gripe was the speed at which Nicola pressed the shredder buzzer. No time for reflection, consideration, empathy with the other group, in fact an absence of those same things which Denise's group actually took time to consider. In that manner, Denise does have a right to criticise Nicola's selfish reaction.

I really have to question whether both of you are watching the same show?

Before the clock began ticking - there were a few minutes in which each team discussed what they would do. Nicola made it clear that she wanted her letter- made this very vocal to her group and NOT ONE OF THEM spoke up to say no. Not one of them said they disagreed. Not one of them objected to what Nicola said she was going to do, very very clearly. Not one. Whether you think they had backbones or not Chuff, the FACT is: not one of them objected.

When she did press the button - Michael then told her not to be upset because he she hadn't pressed it - He would have.

It's better to discuss what actually happened, instead of twisting the truth to suit you.

When the task was read out by Big Brother, and before the time started to count down, Nicola said, more than once, that she wanted her letter and was going to press the button. I did not hear one person say, no, that's not the right thing to do. Probably because they all wanted their letters.

Did YOU forget it's on film? You would make a terrible witness. Let's hope you're never called.

They discussed it for about 5-10 mins before the clock started.

Nicola said straight away that she was going to push the button. No one objected, which in any court of law means consent. I think what no one expected was for Nicola to react so quickly to the count down.

Meanwhile, in the task room, the other HM's had agreed not to push the button at any cost. Therefore acknowledging the fact that they were ok with not getting their personal letters.

After coming out of the task room they all hugged Nicola and said that they were ok with it. And as far as I can remember Denise supported her 100% by saying that she was thinking of the fact that Nicola had younger kids to worry about.

Correct...they had a couple of minutes before the task started and Nicola just talked about how much she wanted her letter and tried to justify that they all had kids.... she asked the others if they were ok with it but they all looked a little uncomfortable and said very little.

So Michael was right but he didnt explain it as it was....

Before Nicola decided for everyone else at least two people said ‘they can have their letters' (meaning the other group) and ‘I’m not saving mine’. She didn’t consult anyone she said ‘I’m doing it, I want my letter’ and immediately did it - that is not consultation.

As she’s pressing the button Kirk can clearly be heard saying ‘i cant do it, i cant do that to gareth’ (who is in the other group) Romeo also says ‘I cant, I cant.'

You need to watch that again me old fruit...

As soon as the rules became clear and they had about 1 minute BEFORE the timer started Nicola said (along the lines of)

"Im really sorry guys I know this is selfish but I have to get my letters, Im going to press it"

Michael quietly agreed, Natalie sat on the fence (im sure she wanted hers to) Kirk dithered a bit and ONLY romeo said he wasnt comfortable with it.

WATCH it again before shooting off rubbish about lies which actually werent lies at all.

The FACT is that they did know before she pressed it and none of them backed her up despite Denise being flat out wrong. Denise was also told by Gareth that none of them should press it cause Nicola and Natalie needed their letters, a point she agreed with COMPLETELY at the time and later said to Nicolas face she was happy she pressed it.

Denise was just looking for ammo to deflect attention from her own drunken pathetic behaviour and this was it.

The dictionary definition of Consult is a. To seek advice or information of b. To refer to. Nicola did seek advice in that she put out there her intention to press the button and sought comment from others otherwise she would not have announced her intentions and just have silently pressed the button. Therefore Michael is correct in saying that she consulted the group and hence did not blatantly lie.

Incidentally, the definition of Blatantly is
1. glaringly conspicuous or obvious a blatant lie
2. offensively noticeable blatant disregard for a person's feelings
3. offensively noisy
None of which apply in this case as there would be no possible discussion or arguement to it if it were blatant.

He sided with her because there were two people screaming at one person?

Or maybe you think thats ok?

The last thing Denise needs is people constantly apologising on her behalf for her persistent unacceptable behaviour. Let's hope when she watches this show back she will get a reality check and go get the help she so obviously needs instead of taking the easy option and allowing her friends, family and fans to constantly shield her from the unpleasant truth that she is a depressive alcoholic who is going to have a very sad and sickly future if she carries on being in denial.

I'm wondering if this would've been made if it was Romeo that told Denise instead of Michael. He was there for the shredding as well but had nothing to say. It didn't require him taking sides, just confirm what Nicola had said.

Twin 2 and Nicola was screaming at Denise and Frankie was on the sofa's. Twin 2 was also screaming at Frankie to 'Shut up' coz it didn't concern him. The same could also be said for Nicola who had no place in the argument at all.
Twin #2 and Nicola were going out the door when Frankie got involved, not screaming at anyone...

AND Frankie said that he got involved only to wind them up

Its hard to argue his motives, when he's admitted to them...

I agree. I do not think she will though. I also think that the people backing her and supporting her are actually doing her no favours in that she needs more people telling her the truth as Michael did when he nominated her.

She is emotionally disturbed. This is a blatant truth.

One second ,hardly time to discuss anything ,thats why she pretended to be a quivering wreck afterwards

Chuff seriously - what show are you watching because it sure as hell aint' the same show everyone else is viewing. Both groups had minutes to discuss the situation - BEFORE the clock starting the 15min countdown. BEFORE the countdown.

After these minutes BEFORE THE CLOCK STARTED TICKING, both groups were seen and heard discussing what numerous fms have explained in detail to you - but you have your blinkers on and appear to refuse to acknowledge this very crucial part of it all.

When the clock started ticking: it was only then that Nicola went up immediately and pressed the buzzer. Not during the convos, not before the clock started ticking. She didn't make her decision in one second. She took one second to reach to the buzzer - the decision had been made - by the group - given their lack of objection to knowing what Nicola wanted to do: none of them raised an objection.

Alleluia sister:xyxwave:. MM doesn't lie - actually he's probably the most honest in there......

Nicola told everyone in her group she was going o press the buzzer before the timer started. I would suggest those who are having memory failure should rewatch on ch5 website:spin:
