I think besides lack of water, what else has killed the grass is the big lounging bags that they all sunbathe on. Sometimes they are on them all day, suffocating the grass.

It's Pete's fault, he ran into the Garden with the vacuum cleaner which dried up all the grass, lol, jk! xD
