News is from last year, but I didnt see a thread on it so made one

Gwen Stefani hasn't released an album with No Doubt since 2001's Rock Steady, but after reuniting with the band two years ago, she's ready to put her solo career on ice. "That was a moment in time," she told EW this week, looking back at the period where she recorded her own albums, Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and The Sweet Escape. "It went on a little longer than we all thought it would, because it was inspired and you have to go with wherever you're at in that time in your life ... everything works out how it should."

:bawling: I wonder what ever happened to the Harujuku Girls..

I don't get what's so sad about this news? Wouldn't you rather she released music that she was personally into, instead of churning out albums just for the sake of it? I've more respect for her for stating that intention, even if this is old news (though I didn't know of it until now.)

How do you know she wasnt into the music :s she did write both albums so she must have been serious about it.

I still can't get over what Katie Waissel did to one of No Doubt's songs on X Factor a couple of years ago.:bawling:

I don't? I'm saying the complete opposite - I'd rather she released albums that she cares about (i.e. the albums she has released) and nothing else (i.e. what she has done) rather than just putting albums out because people will buy them!!
