View Full Version : Brilliant post from DS: Why the Twins should win.

Why THE TWINS MUST WIN tomorrow night
It's simple, really. You aren't just voting for the Twins now, you're voting to stand up for your right to be seen as an intelligent and discerning individual. All week we've had Natalie and the broken down BOTS crew bombard us continuously with their own version of reality, which is: Denise, part cyborg, part rags, coloured in with crayons and fueled on cheap wine, is some kind of poor old fragile victim, and that the Twins are venomous witches whose souls have been sucked out of them by an industrial powered Dyson.

These BOTS and haters tell us it's an affront to 'say no' to having your clothing removed without your permission. We've had it suggested that once a woman takes off her clothes, or shows her flesh as a purely financial move, she is then fair game for having her clothing removed without her permission and that she has lost her right to protest (utterly sickening suggestion - is a woman whose taken off her clothing for a man during a one night stand then fair game for future rape?).

We've had Natalie, powered on cheese puffs, lard, 4-day old bacon rind and Tizer, tweet that we're all ****ed for keeping the Twins in, that we're somehow all wrong for daring to see things differently from her, the media, and the apparently carefully selected zombies both on the BOTS show and outside at the eviction zone.

We had Brian tell Nicola she had no right to talk about Denise because she wasn't there to defend herself, and yet Natalie, at ever opportunity, including eviction night, has been given an open arena in which to pour spite and hatred all over the Twins -- including on CH5's The Wright Stuff show. No opportunity spared.

We've had to witness, time and time again, this utterly deluded notion that no one should dare to want to win a game show, despite the fact we're being told we're voting for a winner, and been utterly bombarded with pro-Frankie and Gareth - and now Denise - opinions. I'm sorry, I don't do mind*******s like this. We're either voting for a winner or a wannabe loser? Reach for the top, desire to win. Be all you can be. Coasters, fence sitters, wishy-washy individuals who pretend they have no desire to win because they're too spineless or because they believe no one likes a winner (the bizarre and feeble mindset of the loser), doesn't cut it on a game show attempting to crown a winner, where you vote for who you want to win.

BOTS should be neutral. It's up to us who we prefer and for whatever reason, be it the Twins, Frankie, Denise or Gareth. No one has the right to attempt to alter our perception of what is going on with clever edits, skewed interviews and hand-picked audiences.

Until this point, I'd wanted Michael to win. But I've changed my mind. I'd like Michael to come second to a Twins victory, because voting for the Twins is a victory for all those who are absolutely sick to the pit of their stomachs being coerced and nudged into thinking the way they want us to, sick of their anti-american sentiment (I'm not American, just so you know). This isn't some sort of weird conspiracy theory, it's been right in front of our faces all week, and those with their eyes open have all been acknowledging it.

So, The Twins must win on Friday night, because they dare to win, because they dare to be confident and because they take no crap.
They must win because we, the viewing audience, are sick of being treated like children in pre-school.

Flawless.

That's true the bit about Nicola, Brian asks her about the fight and then when she answers with her opinion on Denise, Brian says she's being unfair because Denise isn't there to defend herself

I don't mind gameplayers but they have to have some redeeming features about them and for me the twins don't have anything but arrogance.

Excellent, we have had all the bias editing, BOTS & now looks like they have the likes of Max Clifford trying to save their careers by removing our freedoms to talk openly...

Flawless.

Every word of that would have me voting to evict the Twins if it were possible.

People still don't seem to realise that this kind of thing is destroying the twin's support.

That was the strangest interview. as you had Brian saying that...and then Nicola looking over his shoulder, and because she cant help herself...saying I can see my Manager shaking her head, so I have to be diplomatic or something along those lines...almost as if Pam "Denises friend" had her finger on speed dial to Densys laywers...:joker:

Anyway back to the above post....

Hits every note.... I would prefer Michael to win, but the Twins would do...

I like the twins from a point of view that I like to watch them on Big Brother. I could care less if they are mean or whatever as long as they are doing the one and only job they are being paid to do: provide me with entertainment. I don't have to live with them, so why should I care that they made Denise cry? Boo ****ing hoo. Deal with it.

Still want Michael to win.

After reading that I have decided I want them to win again now.

TBF I seen Aaron winning as a turning point for Big Brother, as he was a game player that went all the way - but I'd love to continue the trend, because if we can get another game player winning then who's to say for BB13 we couldn't get alot more game players trying to win it, knowing that's what Big Brother is about now?

They have to win, they have to - KEEP VOTING SERIOUSLY FS.

No it doesn't mean you are liked at all, otherwise they wouldn't get booed EVERYTIME Brian mentions their name.

And if Aaron BB12 was liked then he would have come out to cheers, and not the heavy boos he got.

If your opinions are in line with the live crowd I'd be very worried.

The Twins and Aaron were/are liked, hence why people are voting (voted) for them. They just didn't stand outside the house like a bunch of idiots.

They are NOT liked, there is a small community of people who vote like ****ing crazy and get them to win - in the old days these packs of voters who vote for people like Aaron didn't get a look in because BB used to have mainstream/alot more voters....but now hardly anyone watches let alone votes in BB.

Aaron and the twins are not liked and the booing proves that, otherwise they would be cheered. And the crowds are different every week so you can't blame 'the crowd' as a single thing

The crowd are just horrible people filled with negativity. I wouldn't want to be associated with anything they do.

Aaron had over 70% to win on most polls last year. Yes those people voted lots - because they LIKED him. Just like people are doing for the Twins.

If the other housemates are liked as much then their fans can vote just as much. There is nothing stopping them.

obviously that's not the only reason he thinks it's right, did you even bother to consider the arguments made? they made a lot of sense, not just because it's well written.

It's persuasive, I'll give it that much. But it's biased and logically flawed.

A decent post, but one I disagree with, mainly. He left out the fact that whilst the twins could have stabbed georgia in the back, they didn't. They supported her. Their game -playing minds would have known that she was up for eviction for sure if they voted her. They didn't. They didn't join the 'gang of eight'.
The rest is a negative. They have lied to other housemates about who would be voting for who, they have threatened law suits, asked for money to play on a FAKE game show INSIDE the house, and totally over reacted to Denise's playful 'pj pulling' moment. WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST PULL HER TOP UP, and make a joke of the whole thing? They have shown more bare flesh than that parading around the garden and in the DR. No, the slaughtering of Denise by the twins was a carefully constructed move to make sure, in the first instance, she would be up for what they THOUGHT would be the next eviction. Side with her other nemesis Michael, and they have safety in numbers, now that the back stabbing 2 faced Nicola has ALSO joined their crew. Well that didn't work out, so go for the moral high ground, just like that born again 'feminist' nicola (don't make me laugh, I've commented on her elsewhere) tried to. Well it didn't work for her, and it SHOULDN'T work for the twins. Sure they have business heads, and they want to win, and they are pretty. But apart from the fact that there are two of them, whats the difference between them and, say, Amy Childs then?
I would agree about the bias against the twins on BOTS. The fact that natalie and kirk were trying to blame the twins for nicola's demise is absurd. Nicola was hated in WEEK ONE!! But there was also bias towards Madsen, especially by Emma Willis, when he was up against Georgia. So anti american BOTS? NAH, IT CUTS BOTH WAYS.
Finally, if the American vote on facebook gives us an unrealistic, plastic result, then the whole idea of having US 'celebs' in the CBB house in future has to be debated.

This has to be the most ridiculous and nonsensical response ever. If Aaron was not liked then how come he received the most votes? The crowd are a tiny tiny representation of the audience and their boos or cheers are totally irrelevant. Please think before you write and look silly again

Wouldn't mind the twins winning. I would love it if twins actually won BB. But then again I think it would be brilliant seeing Frankie as the winner.

I can't be arsked to vote anywho. The twins have some competition for the final. Obviously if they didn't they should win hands down.
