A spokesperson said: 'The show was commissioned as an eight-part series looking at Amy Childs’ life in the period immediately after her successful stint in the Big Brother house.
'We are currently talking to Amy about other opportunities on the channel.'
Amy shot to fame when she starred in the first two series of The Only Way is Essex and she went on to star in Celebrity Big Brother before landing her own programme.

Never understood why she left TOWIE
I'm not sure why they ever expected it to do that well or why people would care enough about her to ever tune in

'The fly-on-the-wall format didn’t really work because there wasn’t a lot going on. Watching Amy drive to TV studios and train her dogs was just tedious.'
As much as I like Amy, I have to agree .....
I watched a couple of episodes but found myself falling asleep ..... :bored:
Its on atm her vocabulary seems to be limited to Essex, Vajazzle and Well jell :bored:

Just bring her back to TOWIE, honestly.
Wouldnt be so bad if it was only half an hour, but a whole hour is waaaay to much.

That's a shame, it was such an awe inspiring and educational programme. :idc:

It was sob/
She was once running really late and she almost missed the filming of an episode of 8 out of 10 cats, and itreally taught me that I need to be on time and use my time efficiently if I want to avoid any such trauma like she went through.... -harrowing-

She started her career as a beautician, and Amy Childs has gone back to her roots.
The 21-year-old emerged for the first time today, a day after it was announced her reality show had been axed after just one season.
The redhead looked glum as she exited her white Range Rover and walked into Amy Childs' Salon in Brentwood, Essex.
She had her head down as she fumbled with her car keys and cellphone.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star looked the part in her bright purple uniform with black stockings and towering black heels.
She added a diamante choker necklace and a black purse to the ensemble.
She wrote about the Channel 5 snub last night: 'Thank you for all your amazing support for #itsallaboutamy xxxx.'
Earlier, she said: 'My last show tonight #itsallaboutamy, had so much fun filming it, lots more tv work coming up soon ;) xxxx'
Erm, I don't think so, Amy ..... :nono: You look good, but you're boring ..... :bored:
