View Full Version : it's funny when americans on CBB speculate about the fame of the uk housemates

it's funny seeing them trying to figure out how big the UK celebrities are and who their equivalents are in america
I think that Michael and the twins are under the false impression that Denise is a bigger celebrity than she really is
in the 2010 CBB, Heidi Fleiss thought that Vinnie Jones was a national sporting superstar like OJ simpson was in america before his trial
Vinnie Jones was an english footballer who had to play for Wales, enough said

They only think Denise is a huge star because she acts like she is and is constantly name dropping

I love how they say things like,
'The public might think Frankie is gross and not like how he talks about girls, I mean British people might not like how rude Frankie is and stuff'

It's like, No we have a better sense of humour than Americans - everyone knows that, which is why we  Frankie.

Denise is relatively big I guess though, compared to the other UK'ers.

People don't think the way Frankie talks about girls is funny, even Romeo told him he didn't and the impression I'm getting as to why people are starting to warm to Frankie is because he's being less crude since Kirks left the house

I think it's partly Georgia's fault for them thinking Denise is so big, I seem to remember Michael asking her what Denise did and she was saying it was a really huge show or something like that

Where does this notion come from? It's really not true at all.

This - Frankie has toned it down since he's not got the lecherous Kirk as part of his double act. When we see Frankie and Michael having convos: there's always smiles and laughter despite the huge age gap - we'd probably not have seen that side of Frankie if Kirk had still been there.

Still don't want Frankie to win mind you.

So true. Which male was it that was walking past her in the lounge when she was banging on about being pals with Robbie Williams etc, and he reached down as though to 'catch' the names she dropping? Gareth? :joker: I don't think she even sussed out that she was having the urine extracted. Silly mare.

Is that why he was booed on the way in? They didn't have that sense of humor while he was on X-factor.

People change,I didn't like Frankie due to what I had read about him mainly,(shame on me) as while he has been in BB he has shown he can be a really nice lad,a lot of Frankies girl 'talk' is clearly to 'be in with the lads' he will learn one day that it's the wrong thing to do,i have come to like him and would be happy for him to win the show.

Frankie is quite vile. The way he talks & insults others based on appearance

I agree. I didn't like Frankie before he went in the house, but over the three weeks I have started to like him. I know he comes out with some teenage male banter, but I find him harmless and believe he will grow up pretty fast once he leaves the house. He's already showing signs a little since Kirk left.

Has anyone seen him show any respect towards women at all? the only time i've heard him talk to or about women was him treating them like sex toys. He's revolting in every way.

He walks around half naked with his nasty body that looks like a 3 y/o made it out of play dough. How any woman or girl can allow that MESS of boy flesh climb on top of them i'll never know.

He repulses me in every way.

Good on the Twins for not allowing it. All the British women seem to think it's cute.
