View Full Version : Should the next CBB have a famous BB USA housemate?

From what I understand they've invited housemates from the regular Big Brother series onto CBB before.

No matter who wins, I have to say that this series of CBB was dominated by the twins and Michael. And I've been reading about how conceited and arrogant these Americans are. Well, as someone who has watched almost all seasons of BBUSA, these three housemates seem relatively tame. I mean, if it had been someone like an Evel Dick who went on CBB instead of Michael Madson, UK viewers wouldn't know what hit them.

BB USA has a whole list of houseguests that are deliciously vile and evil and they were vile and evil because they knew they didn't have to pander to the outside world to win. Contrast that to UK housemates who know that they are ultimately preaching and advertising themselves to the viewers. You don't need to be a lovable dimwit to make it far. There are so many bright, beautiful, confident houseguests that aren't afraid of controversy. There also some horrible trainwrecks that are just as entertaining!

If you had to invite someone from BBUSA onto CBB who would it be? Here are a few of the many worthy candidates who will bring plenty of drama.

Evel Dick.

Evel Dick or Rachel would both be amazing to watch on BBUK.

I doubt 98% of viewers would have any clue about most BBUSA housemates so it will never happen

For CBB you have to at least vaguely know them

Shilpa Shetty wasn't known at all.

They had Jade's mom and boyfriend on, were they known before CBB?

Not to mention Chantelle...

They could do a twist similar to the Chantelle twist, and say that Rachel won BBUSA, and she's a huge star in the US now. Shilpa Shetty was only a star in India, and she wasn't even a BIG star in India. I remember talking to my online friends from India about it, and they'd never even heard of Shilpa Shetty.

I have always thought the BBUSA was like bad acting, they knew who was going to win before they started, very false,or maybe the Brits are better actors !!
I think they should not have a twin again,it gives them a unfair advantage, they will always have each others back, they always have someone to trust and confide in,unlike the others who have to go it alone.

I think they do show The Girls Next Door on some cable channel in the UK. But cable TV isn't as popular in the UK as it is here in the US.

You're probably right. I think Jordan would probably win CBB if she was invited on and went.

The only US HMs that would do well were the people like Jordan, she's nice and loveable.

Not even dear sweet simple Jordan would win BBUK. An American could never win, we need to accept this fact.

No. I think throwing back in Josie Gibson or Nikki Grahame would do less to tarnish further the "Celebrity" in Celebrity Big Brother than a civilian BBUS housemate.

But more US celebrities next year please. :D

Jade was the only BB housemate to go on CBB and that series didn't exactly go too well, I think it's a bit of a stupid idea really, they're barely celebrities and they've already been there, done that. It's better for it to be a new experience for the housemates

Jezzy

But I would LOVE to see Evel Dick in there with Jonathan Ross :D

Dick was in discussions after BB8US about doing something with BBUK - nothing ever came of it obviously.

That was just a gimmick really though, and still she hadn't done the show before so it was a new experience

well everyone here loves to talk about how Americans don't understand BBUK at all(especially Pete), so it could be another gimmick.

I think the fact that Americans don't understand BBUK actually that makes them better housemates. Cause they have no idea what the british public wants or likes, so how can they try to manipulate the public? That's what makes them such brilliant housemates.

I like American housemates, I just don't want them to have been from BBUSA, at least with the Twins they're kinda well known over there but are the BBUSA housemates even really celebrities in their own country? Do many people watch it over there?

Get Rachel in!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jezzy
27-01-2012, 01:32 PM
Thinking about it, Rachel probably *would* be evicted really early on. It would have to be a master manipulator like Will or Dick, or a convincing "sweetheart" like Jordan...

but that's what would make it great, cause it would their secret task to convince the other celebs that they are a real celeb too. I think it would be great.

No, BBUS is very strick about having only US citizens.

But the US equivelent to CBBUK was the Surreal Life, and The Surreal Life did have internationals on there.

Both Bridgette Neilsen and Caprice did the Surreal Life as well as CBB. Also Janice Dickinsen did The Surreal Life before she did UK IACGMOOH.

I'd watch Evel, although I reckon a US housemate would be better suited for a Houseswap a la BB4.
