i didn't stay to the end. that wasn't a hit song here. The show was really boring though. Horrible end to an amazing series. I really hope C5 figures out something new for next series, cause BOTS has been attrocious for all 3 series now, how much longer are they gonna carry on with it?
Fix it C5. plzz.

I thought it was a great atmosphere at the end, I'm glad they let So Solid perform till the end of the track! Bet it kicked off in the breaks between Denise and Michael though!

i'm getting that romeo's group mustve been HUGE in the UK. I think it's like the spice girls.
The spice girls were just a novelty thing here in the US, but in the UK the Spice Girls are considered musical legends lol. Same for Take That and Robbie Williams.
It's definitely a cultural difference. you guys take boybands/girlbands way more seriously than we do.

well i'm not saying they are ****, i'm just saying i've never heard of them, and couldn't care less. lol
they are basically just a boyband, but they're black, right? and it caused controversy cause they were "urban" and corrupting the white youth? lol

What about N-Sync and the Backstreet Boys, I'd say they were pretty similar to Take That?

They consisted and consist of a large number, around 30 at the start and yes black, mixed race whatever but yes urban. The music is called garage, and what made them so popular (I'm not sure where you got your information) but garage music was not mainstream at the time and they helped to bring it to the popular musical arena.
In my opinion if it wasn't for garage music we wouldn't have grime artists acknowledged today such as n dubz, dizzy rascal, tinie tempah etc. Grime is a progression from garage within uk rap. Whether you like that sort of music or not, it's an achievement to be recognised.

So Solid Crew were big in 2001... Tried a comeback around about 2010 but it didn't happen. Romeo had a couple of songs that were hits around about 02/03 though, an I'm not sure how successful Lisa Maffia was but I know she had at least 4/5 top 40 hits.
Glad they performed at the end of BOTS (haven't seen it yet), but in a way it's kind of a realization it isn't going to happen again

Really though, Alex, this BOTS didn't do it for you? Agree to disagree then, this BOTS show was, for the most part, out****ingstanding. There was some singing, some showboating, some Michaeling, and a whole lot of cheers. Absolutely loved it.
Til May!

Well N-Sync and Back Street Boys are doing a few gigs in Ireland this year so there must be some interest.
