There's lots of negativity on the forum at the moment but is anyone happy with the winner (and the final 5 in general)??

No, she's a vile utter mess. But I'd have rather her than Gareth.

Most people are. That's why Denise was voted as the winner. :)

The sore losers who can't seem to seperate BB from their real lives are embarrasing themselves. Big time.

Yes I was happy with the final five, with the exception of Gareth. I would've preferred Frankie or Michael to win, but I don't really mind that Denise won, she's a bit annoying but she's alright. Best series in a while so no complaints from me really.

Yes, was the best result. Gives the show more credability.

No idea who would win right until the end.

I'm quite happy with Denise winning. She is a worthy winner in my view. She was at the centre of a lot of the moments that made this series so good so she deserves to win and she's quite likeable in a way so I'm happy with the result.

I liked the final five except for Denise so no, I didn't like the winner.

I always am happy to accept who the public end up voting the winner,Denise wasn't my choice to win but she has been entertaining, she has done the tasks,we have had laughs and drama from her so if that has resulted in the public wanting her to win and thereby voting for her, I am happy.

I am very very happy! And I LOVED rubbing it in my OHs face that Denise won... he doesn't like her... I'm not sure why though lol. I think she is fantastic!

People on here are ******ing ridiculous.
She's not that bad, I didn't want her to win at all - my favourite's came 5th and 2nd, do you see me crying about it?

She was entertaining at times, was at the centre of every story and whilst she might of been annoying at least she wasn't a dullard. FS.

The people calling her 'the worst winner EVER' are utterly laughable. I could think of about 3 winners far worse than her, so shut up and get over the fact she won people.

tbf Id have only been disappointed if Michael won.

Copy and pasted from the other thread:

What an overreaction. She wasn't my first preference but she's definitely not the worst winner ever, I'm sorry but if anyone believes that they're just deluded. Rachel Rice, anyone? Denise contributed a lot more to this series than she did to hers. Denise has actually been pretty entertaining, let's just be thankful Gareth didn't win, that would have been a disaster.

This is all something I really can't get my head around, the twins/Denise fans constant divide. It's pretty stupid...clearly they were all entertaining housemates, why people insist on taking sides in arguments and letting that dictate which housemates they support is beyond me. You should support housemates based on how much they contribute to the show, and considering both the twins and Denise were involved in that big argument, they all contributed a lot to the series. You're not living with them, so why take sides?

All in all, Denise is a decent winner. By far not the worst.

Would have been happy with anyone else winning from the final 5 other than Denise. She really was a disgusting person and its such a shame that she just happens to have a show for her on the outside plugging for her votes every damn day which is so clearly how she won.

this win means nothing, her reputation will have taken a bit of a battering from this.

Really, I watch Loose women every day, have done since it started, and very little was mentioned. At the very end of todays show they all wished her luck, hardly touting for votes.

Even if they didn't say much it gets people thinking about her. When I caught a glimpse of the show even I automatically thought about her. It keeps Denise in the publics consciousness and the other housemates don't have something like that everyday to remind viewers that they are not where they normally are if you get what I mean.

And there was this one message from a viewer called Denise...they then went out of their way to say 'not our Denise'! As if it would be her :joker: such a name drop there!

Was that the best she could say, how original and witty.....telling Michael to '**** off' on BBOTS...no class, no style, no self respect.....and no vocabulary either

Very happy. I like Denise. Just didn't think Gareth needed the win as much. He has Mickey friggin Rourke shaving down his hair for Gareth's character!! That guy has already won. jfc

PS: Hoping for a sex tape of Denise and Michael "hitting it off."
PPS: I won't watch.

I am not really bothered she won, it's only a game, a different result would have been better, but it wasn't a totally unexpected result anyway. I predicted in elim game about a week or two back now that Frankie would win and Denise be runner up, so I was close. Would have been great if Michael had won but never expected him to, I was glad enough for Michael that he made the final :)

Not the best winner ever but she was still entertaining and if the 'pulling down the trousers' thing hadn't have happened I'm sure her victory would be taken better.

Glad she won over those Yanks, better still would have been if Gareth won he's divine.

28-01-2012, 04:19 PM
I expected Frankie, Denise as the last two, however my fav was Michael but I didn't think a Yank would win, but they helped make it this year and the twins caused Denise to win by default after pantsgate - she went into victim mode IMO

I wasn't that big a fan of Denise, but i am also not her against her winning, in comparison to what we could of had as a winner, it's not a bad result.

The final 5 were a good final 5, you had the americans, then the nice/normal (Gareth), and then Frankie!.

So overall not bad, no complaints from me!

Yes disappointing winner, she did bring drama to the house but personally I found her childish and annoying, but I dont care because this has been my favourite season since big brother 10, so everyone did well to make a good season (well minus Kirk, Natalie and Frankie)

Overall good final 5, maybe minus frankie

Happy with her winning, and having an 'affair' (even though we have NO proof it happened) has got nothing to do with what we saw on the show.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but I think it was a big, steaming pile of pig poo. Seriously, is this the best we've got to offer? Ulrika... Paddy... Denise? I love CBB but I think watching the final is frankly pointless. Who the hell is voting for these awful people?

If Frankie couldn't win, I'm happy it was Denise and not the loathsome twins (5th :D). Gareth would've been a bit of an anti-climax, and Michael didn't really do a lot so he wouldn't have really been that good a winner.
