I would be great if ch5 put only over 30's in from 30 to 60 for a change. A 53yr old woman has just won the show and made CBB a great show this year so imagine if BB went for older housemates who can hold a conversation and bring much needed character into the house rather than thick housemates with forgetable fake tans, tits and sex talk thats been done to death for decades.
What do you think?

Tbf there are younger people who audition for BB that can hold a conversation,it's just that BB doesn't put them through.

I think that there should be a mixture of all types of people in the house that appeals to different viewers.

^ ^ Agreed. We need a mixed house with people of different backgrounds, ages and weight. But not too mixed like BB10 (which ended up gobsmackingly crap)

A lineup similar to BB7's would be great.

I think it would be good if it was a mixture say half under 30 and half over 30's. I think one of the reasons CBB was so good was the mixture of ages

For a change no wannabee fake tanned and tits and defo no jay types who take a dump in the fridge to entertain us. Give us a good mix of housemates with character so the older housemates are the better i say because we as viewers already know what happens when we put dumb wannabez in the house who's only focus in life is to have a shag or get topless in a lads mag. It's been done already. More characters please.

agreed, a couple from each decade would be good, getting back to the old social experiment format, but it wont happen, they just want people who might get it on now...sad really

I know what you mean about just wanting young ones to get it on in the house but just look at this CBB series. They had enough young ones in there to get it on and they didn't. So we know that putting them in does not work. The older ones are what made the show so lets hope ch5 realize this and give us more characters if they want a successfull show.

only because the ladies in the house karissa, kristina and nic were in relationships, if they had put single young celebs in frank (19 now, too old for frankie) and kirk would maybe had a chance?
I do not want more denises.... urgh no way, no and never in that order!
the selection process needs to stop trying so hard to put people together how 'go' or 'clash' just let it flow...

I like that idea too.

I certainly hope so. It would be nice to have different age groups as it's more interesting. I think in CBB they showed a bit longer conversations than they've shown before which was nice. I thought the regular BB was better in that respect as well as some of the last series but it's all down to editing. During the dask days you'll know that that's they main thing they'll show unless something really big happens.

C5's marketing for BB says they're targeting a 16-34 demographic, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some 30+ people in there this time. I think the 18-30 thing was just an experiment.

I think CBBs main success wasn't casting old people, it was casting more eccentrics (as opposed to freaks) with very different lifestyles. Last time everyone basically had the same overall values - even the ones with different backgrounds (Harry) or beliefs (Heaven) had the same sort of 'getting drunk and partying with the lads/girls' attitude.
