Michael “She said to me, ‘Why don’t we go ****?’
“I was *embarrassed for her and worried that she was going to destroy her career.”
So she's got a husband, an affair and tried it on with Michael.
Which drunken hag supporters called the twins sluts? :hmph:

The only ones who ever had any credibility where Kay Adams (she knew when to get out) and previously Janet Street Porter... other than that they are all pretty much pathetic, especially the simpering host and vile Carol McGiffin.
she may have won this show, but that lady is paused to self destruct.
Like I said yesterday...
My only solace tonight was the knowledge that despite winning she will still be a sad depressed mess of a human being devoid of any joy and paralysed by her own insatiable need to be loved.
Sometimes it gets boring being right all the time :xyxwave:

The show seems a bit of a sham now though doesn't it?
I'm kind of glad that this alleged proposition of Michael was never broadcast. If it did happen, the the produccers may have done the humane thing and sought to limit the damage to her marriage. But they also denied us a crucial part of the narrative.
As I say, they probably did the right thing - yet they also made it so as you can't really trust you're getting an accurate view of what's happening in there. Kind of ruins my innocence anyway!

No surprises here for the BB fans / viewers who tried to tell Denise supporters that she was an alcohol fuelled, lying old scutter. :joker:
Loose Women star Denise Welch cheats on husband with toyboy lover
Just two months ago, Denise told how Tim being rushed to hospital recently for life-saving surgery to unblock arteries brought them “as close as we’ve ever been”.
But while proclaiming her love for Tim, she was having a fling with Lincoln, who spent the night with her in a five-star hotel before she went into the Big Brother house.
A friend of Lincoln’s said: “She told Lincoln she loved him and she was going to announce she was separating from Tim after Celebrity Big Brother.
And when the show ended, US actor Michael Madsen claimed she had propositioned him for sex, asking: “Why don’t we ****?”
Around September the relationship started to become more serious and Denise began talking about being unhappy in her marriage to Tim, who celebrates his 60th birthday today.
In 2004 she had an affair with carpenter Steve Murray and Tim wanted a divorce before finally forgiving her.
She told Loose Women’s 1.2 million viewers in January 2010: “I think one of the reasons why Tim and I have stayed together after 20 years is the history. I love the history we have together, the memories and the fact that you have two families that have come together over 20 years, his family adore me, my family adore him, and it’s sharing occasions.”
Yet little more than a year later, Denise was beginning her affair with Lincoln in London while Tim was splitting his time between Cheshire and filming the ITV comedy Benidorm in Spain.
Also in November last year Lincoln was invited to an Ice Ball in Manchester organised by Denise and Tim – who himself has appeared as a guest on Loose Women – to raise money for charity.
She signed up for Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother and is said to have told Lincoln and friends she was planning to leave Tim by Christmas.
But one friend said she later decided “she would announce she was separating from Tim when she left the Big Brother house”.
Tim found out about the fling when Denise accidentally left a message intended for Steve on Tim’s answer phone.
The affair with Steve ended in 2004 but he later claimed they rekindled their fling when they met in Thailand in 2010.
Denise said last year: “Sex to me is purely recreational and doesn’t have to be in a long-term relationship because the newness of that type of sex is very exciting.”
So everyone on here who said that she was a drunken, lying, manipulating, selfish old trollop - was indeed spot on, and 100% correct.
Well done to everyone who voted for her to win ! Any of you that felt Denise was any better Michael or the Twins - should go away and have a quiet word with yourselves. This is how she treats people she purported to love.....

You'll never convince some on here. All they've done by making her their winner is probably break her marriage up for good because she now thinks everyone loves her and accepts her bizarre behaviour. I think it's extremely telling that her close immediate family, ie husband and children, were not there on Friday. As for propositioning Michael for sex, I can quite believe it. She has been after him from day 1:bored:

I love when posters have to resort to crude and unecessary expletives in some misinformed belief that it gives more credence to their comments.
You will note that the comments in the article are pertaining to around CBB, what she was upto just before going in, and what she intended getting upto when she came out: thus, it's very pertinent. It reinforces the fact that she is a lying, devious, untrustworthy, trollop - both in the house and out.
I am so pleased that my own moral radar was so finely tuned to her being the type of person that is an utter disgrace, to themselves and those they purport to care and love.

I HAVE judged Denise on her behaviour in the house - it was bizarre, despicable, harrassing and at times intimidating, cringeworthy and downright irritating. If the boot had been on the other foot and Michael had been stalking Denise he would have been thrown out of the house.
Before she went in the house she barely registered in my consciousness, although her antics have always been in the papers. However, her behaviour was of no consequence to me. The ball game changes once she is in my living room every night. I WILL judge her just as you judge the HMs YOU like and don't like. And how do we decide who we like and dislike? Why, it's based on their behaviour in the house. You might have found Denise's behaviour entertaining, funny, endearing () whatever, but I can assure you there are lots of others like myself who found her manipulative, sly, calculating, and self serving.

No, they should show it all and not be wimps. That would help ratings even more. People are responsible for what they do and say on BB. Also they should never deceive the audience, that should be the number one rule, sadly that was ignored long ago.

point is...people have called the twins "vile, ugly, sluts", in the house they acted with decorum and taste, but their PAST has been dragged up at every opportunity...now Denise's PAST is not relevant and we should be judging her on what she did in the house...well hello that is exactly what I am doing.....blimey talk about wanting your cake and eat it.

If Denise doesn't want to be with her husband, why doesn't she just do the decent thing and leave him? - why humiliate him any further with her extra marital affairs, drunken binges and propensity to flash her bits at anyone who might be up for quick fumble. Those of us who cringe at her behaviour and are repulsed by it have every right feel that way, just as you have every right to excuse it. We all have a different moral compass after all.
We will continue to comment on her if we wish - this is a public forum designed for the purpose of exchanging views and opinions about the housemates. Denise, by entering the house, has set herself up for criticism, good or bad.
AND, thanks for the concern, I do indeed lead a very happy and contented life which also involves not disrespecting and humiliating my nearest and dearest at every opportunity in order to get attention and instant gratification.

Yes - do you have some issue with how his looks? I happen to be a far less shallow person than that and take the person as a whole - rather than just the veneer - regardless of how the outside looks - good or not so good.
Perhaps you might want to readdress your 'holier than thou' comment straight back to yourself, then when you've come down off your own lofty tower: you may be in a better position to judge others who are commenting on here.

Precisely. Anyone with a shred of decency for themselves or for those persons they purport to love, or have loved: would do the decent thing and make the break from the relationship instead of having sex partners (after all, she said herself that sex is just recreational) - rather than publically humiliate, affront, and embarrass those closest to her.

Interview with Michael in Daily Star today:
"CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER 2012: MICHAEL MADSEN CLAIMS DENISE WELCH BEGGED HIM FOR SEX
She walked up to me on the last night and said ‘Why don’t we just go and ****** right now?
Cele brity Big Brother housemate Michael Madsen
29th January 2012
By Ed Gleave
FURIOUS Michael Madsen has *sensationally claimed Denise begged him for sex in the house.
The movie star last night blamed Loose Woman Denise for ruining his time on the show and said he felt sorry for her husband Tim Healy.
In an exclusive chat, Michael, 54, told the Daily Star Sunday: “She offered to sleep with me a number of times – she just kept trying.
“I couldn’t understand why she was pressing me to do that. But she was deadly serious. I know quite a bit about women and I know when a girl is being serious – and she definitely wanted it to happen.
“It made me sick to my stomach – the idea repulsed me. If I was stranded on a desert island I would rather ****** a coconut tree.
“She walked up to me on the last night and said ‘Why don’t we just go and ****** right now?’.”
Loyal Tim blasted Michael in an interview last week over his treatment of Denise.
But Michael said: “I feel sorry for her husband. I heard he wants to ‘sort me out’. Well here I am.
“But if he wants to sort something out perhaps he should have a chat with his wife. If I was him I’d be pretty *embarrassed.”
Dad-of-five Michael also claimed Denise’s alcohol problems were far from over.
He said: “Having Denise there ruined my experience – every housemate felt the same.
“The people that voted for her weren’t living under the same roof.
“She can’t handle her drink. She spends the whole day asking when we’ll get wine – and when she gets it she just kicks off. We had to start hiding it from her.
“We were all in fear of the way she behaved when she had a drink – we got fed-up with it. It was sad. We all felt really embarrassed for her.”
Denise hit back at Michael’s claims, saying: “I was joking when I said we should have sex. He doesn’t have a sense of humour.”
Pathetic Denise: Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. How very true.
Seems if anyone objects to Denise's vile behaviour they "don't have a sense of humour". She really needs to get a grip and start taking some responsibility for herself. You would have to be a dimwit and blind as a bat not to have seen a mile off that Denise had a major crush on Michael, but he found her totally repulsive. She just can't handle rejection.

A few years ago the Daily Star printed a story about a new series of BB. They used a fan made logo and trailer a user on this forum made.
The reliability is a little on the small side.
Im no fan of the redtops either but the papers cannot print untruths...they will be sued.
Exactly. Yeah you shouldn't take everything a red top prints as indisputable fact but it's equally stupid to think there going to make something up completely, that'd be slander, completely illegal. I remember the Star did print a story once saying Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley were getting married, they printed the story with very little evidence and they were sued and had to print a front page apology.
And for what it's worth this is the Daily Mirror, not the Star, it isn't as bad. Come on people, I know you might be Denise fans but stop trying to make out people are stupid for believing this story, it makes logical sense, there's a picture of them, Denise has a bit of a history, and like I said papers can't just make stuff up. Get real.

Well I think it's likely that Michael did say that but yeah you should take it with a pinch of salt. But do you think if Denise was still happily married and didn't cheat on her husband, if this was all lies, she would just allow this story to be told by a leading national newspaper with out taking any action? I very much doubt it. I know Denise has won, and tbh I'm not that bothered about what the celebs do outside the house, but people shouldn't just post sarcastic comments like "well it's in a redtop so it must be true" and mock those who believe it just so they can defend their favourite, because the likelihood is that the story is probably pretty accurate

Some people will claim that she did not deserve to win or fooled by the GBP, fact is she won and that cannot be changed despite the for or against opinions but in the long term Denise has more long term problems to sort out out and doing this show has done more harm than good for her...
I agree with MTVN..it makes no difference which newspaper it was, the probability is it's pretty much true.
I'm only really interested in what sort of housemates people are and how they act within the group..once it's over, it's over for me. But, of course Denise has behaved badly in the past..as has Natasha...as has Frankie...as have the twins if you disapprove of their playboy status...as I would think most if not all of them. The only 'fact' is that fans do excuse the flaws in their chosen ones and 'enhance' them in the people they dislike.
Denise isn't what some of her fans purported her to be...but so what..people rarely are.
I guess this will be another Jay/freezer thing and will be rehashed for months...

You are aware she wrote a book .... and divulged much that about her own behaviour. She WANTS people to know what goes on in her private life: otherwise she wouldn't have written abou it nor divulged any such behaviour.
Here from last April 2010's Daily Mail.
Denise Welch has revealed her husband Tim Healy found out about her affair after she left a phone message for him instead of her lover by mistake.
The 51-year-old actress, who had an affair with 36-year-old carpenter Steve Murray, admits she accidentally called her husband while trying to make plans with Steve.
Denise made the confession in a serialisation of her new book Pulling Myself Together in the Daily Mirror.
Denise admits 'sexual infidelity is not the end of the world' for her.

Denise has hardly been reticent about her private life - in fact she has made it her mission to tell the world about it because, of course, the world MUST be interested in the great Denise Welch:idc: That way she can milk the maximum amount of sympathy for her own self inflicted issues. She tells the mags and the papers, she writes books, and she spouts off about her inner angst every chance she gets on Loose Women or any other chat show that'll have her. Alright Denise, you're a lush, we know already.
Since she has labelled herself as a depressive alcoholic slut, it's hardly news of the century, but clearly it was to Michael who had never heard of her before entering the house. Going on her own self professed past form I can well believe that she propositioned him and that she got lairy, aggressive and nasty when she had a drink. Why is this news to anyone, and why do people fall over themselves to excuse her behaviour? She really is an expert on sucking people into her version of the world, viewed for the majority of time through beer goggles. Defending her against actual truths that have come out of her own mouth, is perverse in the extreme.

Agreed. If you went entirely on how the Twins behaved in the house (as Denise fans seem to do about her funnily enough) then you really would think they were classy and reserved women as they so shockingly  stated themselves. And you'd think Denise wasn't. End of. The Twins went into that house with healthy relationships and the ch5 crew probably expected them to get off with Frankie. Well they didn't. They didn't roll back the years and get in a jacuzzi topless with Frankie, they didn't offer to flash their tits at Michael (or sleep with Michael), they handled their drink responsibly.
And the only thing they did wrong: oh, they didn't 'get' Denise's humour by allowing themselves to be exposed against their will.

Yep, my point was more that SHE wants people to know what she gets up to, the woman has no shame.
Clearly not when she admits her husband only found out about the illicit affair (affairs aren't hidden in an open relationship) when her husband inadvertantly received the message she meant to leave for her bit on the side.

Personal life
Welch's first marriage was to actor David Easter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Easter), from 1985 until their divorce in 1988; Welch has since gone public with her belief that he committed adultery.[10] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Welch#cite_note-9) Welch met her current husband, Tim Healy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Healy_(actor)), while they were working together for Newcastle's Live Theatre Company (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_Theatre_Company). They married in Haringey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_Borough_of_Haringey), London (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London), in 1988 and have two children, Matthew Timothy (born 1989, Hendon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hendon), London) and Louis Vincent (born 2001, Salford (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_Salford), Greater Manchester (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_Manchester)).[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Welch#cite_note-icnew-1)[11] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Welch#cite_note-10)
Welch has suffered from severe depression (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_depressive_disorder) intermittently throughout her life, which was exacerbated following the birth of her first child. She tried to commit suicide (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide) by attempting to jump out of the window of her flat,[12] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Welch#cite_note-11) and subsequently fell into alcoholism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcoholism) and drug abuse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug_abuse). Welch confessed that she found it difficult to cope with the pressures that came with being in Coronation Street, once commenting "I don't know how I did that job. I was desperately ill for most of my time in the Street. It got so bad that I started drinking heavily. I thought it would be a quick-fix way of taking away the pain, but it exacerbated the depression. I could easily down a bottle of wine a day. Other days I would binge-drink until I blacked out. I was still taking anti-depressants (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-depressant) and the alcohol would cancel these out—so when I did get an attack of depression it was much worse ... There were mornings when I can't tell you how hard it was to get up for work, and then, when I was on the set, I felt I couldn't say a line properly. I would watch an episode I'd been in and would hardly remember doing it. But the public never realised."[13] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Welch#cite_note-depression-12) Welch also admitted to using cocaine while filming Coronation Street and hitting her husband's head with a lamp shade after a "drink-fuelled row".[14] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Welch#cite_note-13)
Welch confessed that her marriage was nearly ruined because of her mental illness (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mental_illness), as well as an affair (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affair) she had during the midst of her depression. With the help of her former Coronation Street co-star Kevin 'Curly Watts' Kennedy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_Kennedy_(actor)) (a recovering alcoholic), she attended Alcoholics Anonymous (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcoholics_Anonymous) and suggested that this helped her to end her dependency on alcohol. She claimed that it was the "hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life, but it is also the thing that I'm proudest of. And my mental health is now so much better than it was when I was drinking ... I will always have depression—but I'm in control of it now because I've given up drinking".[13] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Welch#cite_note-depression-12) On 29 April 2010 her 320-page autobiography Pulling Myself Together was published, in which she describes how she overcame her problems with alcohol, drugs and depression. It became a best-seller in the UK.[3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Welch#cite_note-Myself-2)

You're missing the point that a lot of people (including yourself) seem totally unaware of the fact that every word written about her in the media (Daily Star or not), is the absolute truth , since we have already had it all from the horse's mouth. Yet people come on here scoffing at the reports of her exploits in a feeble and inexplicable attempt to defend her, instead of just admitting they were unaware of the actual truth. It must be hard to have to backtrack now.

Possibly because they have two youngish children.....and most responsible adults like to see children being raised by parents who have some respect for each other/themselves - and like to teach their kids good morals. Most, clearly not parents such as Denise (or Tim for that matter).

I'm going to leave my point at we never know the ins and outs of the relationship (i.e. what happens behind closed doors). If the children pick up on the affairs, then the parents will have to deal with that at some point. Sure, it isn't right to go round having the odd affair, but I know neither of them and therefor it doesn't affect me in the slightest (which could be why I liked Natasha).

There's a fair few disgruntled people over on DS who are royally peed off that they voted for Denise. Many people were taken in by her "poor little me" act, but have now realised that it was indeed just an act, and they have had the grace to admit it. The recent revelation that Denise openly propositioned Michael goes a long way to explaining his revulsion of her, and why he disliked her so much. We probably only saw a fraction of her harrassment of him, but the penny is dropping for a lot of people now. Poor Michael has been villified because of HIS treatment of Denise, when all along it has been her crafty and vindictive campaign to present him in a poor light. She certainly succeeded in fooling gullible voters
If her behaviour has been bizzare before, I guarantee it will go off the scale now that she thinks it is acceptable and even applauded.

The hypocricy of people on here, who have no problems with Denise's behaviour no matter she does, contrasted to the criticism of the twins.
False claims that they had sex with Hugh Heffner, and everyone really knows it was false and just publicity for Playboy mag.
Filming herself having sex with her BLACK boyfriend........no kids involved or harm to anyone else.........:nono:

And to be fair, the Twins are young, free and single, so can do what the hell they want. No husband or kids to disrespect and disgrace.

Why the need to mention the colour of her boyfriend's skin - never mind going to the bother of CAPITALISING the world black.

I mentioned it because a few respondents on here and other forums mentioned it when referring to the sex tape that Karissa had made.
It seemed to me that their real problem was the race of her boyfriend rather than the fact that they had recorded a video of themselves having sex.

Well at least Denise is OK for drink, fags and hotel room money for a while now.......
The Loose Women fans should remember her sincere looking renditions on the show about how, she was not proud to of her boozy and drug taking past, when all the time she was continuing her manipulative ways by carrying on behind her husbands back.
I used to like Denise, as well as Natalie Cassidy on Day 1 they were my favs, not any more.....

I wish the deluded idiot would stop banging on about how she has beaten her alcohol addiction and conquered her "demons" when we have all seen, from her behaviour in the house, that this is blatantly not true. It seems that Denise constantly re-writes scenarios in her head to the extent that she actually believes her version. Hence her surprised look when she viewed the clip of her punching Michael. She had already blocked that out of what passes for her mind. No doubt she has already re-written that scene for her future drunken party anecdotes as Michael provocatively putting his face in front of her fists:idc:

That's drink addled brains for you.
Given that the UK is trying to get the message across that binge drinking, fuel induced bad behaviour, arguments and fights caused due to excess drinking is letting the country down - it says much that this is exactly the type of person that was voted to win CBB.
Says much about those - not all but certainly many of those who voted for her: as clearly they feel that this type of behaviour is acceptable. No wonder this country is going to the dogs if this is the type of celebrity that is reveered & admired.

Absolute rubbish. Where are the posts talking about the race of her boyfriend instead of the actual sex tape?
Glad the twins didn't win and I'm glad Denise won.
