Does anyone else have any reoccurring dreams? Over the past 2/3 months I keep having dreams where my teeth fall out, sometime they just crumble in my mouth and other times they fall out into my hand, it's really rank :conf2:

But yeah, does anyone else have any?

If a general feeling of loss of control accompanies your dream, of feeling helpless and anxious, then this could mean that you feel helpless and not in control of a waking life situation.
You could feel fearful and afraid of change. Is there a situation where you feel this way in your waking life?

If your dream is accompanied by feelings of humiliation and of being embarrassed then these dreams are an overly exaggerated way of presenting your anxiety about looking bad in a waking life scenario.

Ask yourself if there is any situation in your waking life in which you feel like you will humiliate yourself or feel embarrassed about?

Do you cover up your mouth in your dream?
If so, what are you trying to hide for fear of embarrassment in waking life?

Teeth are often one of the first places that signs of aging or malnutrition are seen. Thus, teeth dreams could also relate to feelings of inadequacy in being able to nourish and support yourself.
Are you taking good care of yourself and your body's needs?

Teeth dreams may also indicate anxiety and insecurities about abandonment. Do any of your close relationships leave you feeling insecure and abandoned?

I have reoccurring dreams rarely, but I once had a few months where I'd keep dreaming that my Geography teacher was a serial killer. It made me really edgy for a while.

I used to get ones. I don't really like to talk about the content. They have sort of stopped now. I get it about once a month. I hate them.

I rarely remember dreams but I sometimes have that feeling that someone is in the room right next to me and I try to wake up and I can't and I can't move...like I'm paralysed

Dreaming of being attacked is actually quite common. In some cases, people who suffer from post traumatic stress disorder or some other type of anxiety ailment due to an actual physical attack may dream of being attacked as their psyche still tries to deal with the incident.

More than likely though, a dream of being attacked is generally triggered by the suppression or fear of something going on in your life. While in your dream, you may be attacked by any number of things – a man, a monster, or a wild animal – but, what is actually attacking you is some disturbing area in your life that you may not notice or may think you have under control during waking hours. When we don’t openly acknowledge our fears, they show up in our dreams, where our minds are much freer and open to feelings.

Look at all aspects of your life and try to pinpoint the area of stress

....not being able to run/legs feeling heavy is an anxiety dream too

When I was about 4 I had these reoccuring dreams for about a year where two aliens (from some dance video game for PS1 that I cannot for the life of me remember then name of) used to knock on my door EVERY night and take me away and kill me. My Mum was distraught in the dreams and I could never escape them. And once I hid in the tumble drier and they set two German Shephards on me and they ripped me to shreds. :/ They really ****ed me up :joker:

To dream that you are unable to throw a punch indicates that you are feeling helpless. You may have self-esteem and confidence issues.

I always have dreams I'm pregnant although I've actually only had the baby/ies like 3 times, I have been in labour a good few times too. Think it just means I really want a baby.

last night I had this dream where an advert for this new web-browser popped up literally everywhere (I was in some city that looked like San Francisco and it was on every shop-window, every TV screen and every billboard)... and so I went to the company HQ of this new browser, called something like MediTech :suspect:, and they were unaware of the adverts, and I'm making this sound very boring, but it was all a conspiracy and it turned out they were brainwashing people and I found them out and they sent hitmen after me :(

I have the teeth one too.

I also sometimes get dreams where I'm completely naked from the waist down and I'm aware of it but I don't know if anyone else is, and if they are it isn't mentioned. It's just normal... I'm not a nudist lol

I ave the teeth ones too, though a bit different to the ones you describe...

Usually am out somewhere and I suppose I must get spiked or something, then I start grinding my teeth...but cant stop...and it gets worse and worse until I kinda...knock my front teeth out with the rest of my jaw. I usually wake up round about then.

Aside from that, most dreams I have are the same. A few I get a couple of times a month. I also seem to have vivid dreams of big events before they happen, though not in the place they happen...like I had a dream of a massive tsunami in a random place I ad never been to the night before that one hit thailand. And a massive earthquake in my home town the night before one was mentioned on the news somewhere abroad...things like that. Those ones have me paranoid as hell and everytime I have one I watch the news the next day to see where its happened D:

No I don't think I've had any of that nature. I've had loads of dreams about the same object. I kept having different dreams about my MacBook when I saving up for it for instance. D:

Oh but for years I've had dreams about my brother drowning. Like I constantly got these dreams.
The spooky thing is though, my 3 year old cousin had a nightmare last night and from what we gathered it was about my brother drowning aswell..

the teeth one is horrible, mostly because it makes me worry that I'm actually grinding my teeth in my sleep or something

I get dreams where I'm somewhere I recognise as if I've been there before...even though I actually haven't :suspect: Like it's got some history that I subconsciously know about, even though in reality it's not somewhere I've been or dreamed about before.

i also suffer sleep paralysis a lot and that is horrible too.

Omg me too  It's really horrible when you're half awake but can't move, and it's like you could just go back to sleep, but the thought of that is too scary

I used to have a terrifying reoccuring dream when I was little. It was pretty much always the same deal with a few shifting details.

I'd be sitting in the living room with my family when I'd begin to see a shape moving about outside. as it got closer I'd begin to hear the sounds of metal being dragged across the floor and this horrible laughter but I wouldn't see the creature until it reached the window. It was always the same, an extremely pale man with yellow eyes and jagged misshapen teeth who had long thin claws for fingers. Upon reaching the window he'd break in and usually his arms would extend and grab me, pulling me out into the darkness. The dream always changed slightly from time to time, sometimes he'd slash his way through the walls or doors or come down the chimney, One time he even errupted out of my own shadow. It always ended the same way though, I was always dragged away and I could never do anything to stop it.

I've always remembered those dreams, When I was in secondary school I actually used them as a basis for a lot of creative writing, for a period of time I wanted to be a Horror Writer but I've got neither the patience nor the talent for it.

I remember watching Nightmare on Elm Street for the first time when I was a teenager and thinking how eeriely similar my nightmare man was to Freddie Kruegar although I'd never seen the films up until that point.
