Can SMC return to TiBB?

SMC was banned from this forum in April 2006.

He is a good mate of mine, and was responsible for a lot of light-hearted banter amongst forum members. He was loved by few and hated by many but the forum is missing his presence and his massive ego.

In his defence, he hasn't tried to return sneakily by creating multiple new usernames and spamming the forum. He took his ban on the chin, but is it time to reconsider his future at TiBB?

I would like his membership reinstated. Of course this will be up to the site admin, but feel free to vote in the poll.

no he got a couple o warning at the beginning he joined then he was good then he got banned

No. But some people have been banned after their third warning. SMC got a couple of chances, then he got banned. I just think it would be nice to have him back. He is a funny guy, if you have a sense of humour and don't take everything to heart. :thumbs:

Yes. The admin banned him. He doesn't want to create a false username and come back. He wants to be allowed to return.

Sometimes he went a bit far with the banter but I thought he was a good member most of the time and I don't think he'd take the banter as far if he returned so I think he should come back.

Sorry but I voted NO. I am one of the big bad admin team that banned him. I tried and tried to keep things right for him as did other Mods but he just kept shooting himself in the foot! He made our lives much harder and to be honest we dont need the hastle.

I think that if we remember rightly he had several short bans, then a longer ban then banned for good so he did have plenty of chances to get to grips with the rules.

Personally I think SMC was funny and a great laugh but that just isnt grounds enough in my opinion to reinstate him as a member. Sorry Stropz!

If we unban SMC we unban all the other banned members. And that is not a good idea.

Seriously, he got enough chances and the decision was taken to ban him permanently.

Personally, I don't think he should be allowed back.

Don't worry about it Sunshine. I didn't really expect any of the admin to re-instate him. It was worthwhile asking though. :thumbs:
