It makes me cringe because I can't stand Davina. I really can not stand the way that girl speaks. Please give up Davina, please give up your TV career!
Big Brother wouldnt be the same without her, and I for one would be over the moon about that. -- It would be a helluva lot BETTER!

Davina is coming out of the studio...
to get the evicted HM...
and take them into the studio...
to be interviewed...

Unless it's the bogeyman coming to get you...
...then it means something else entirely...

Oh ok thanks
I was kinda thinking that already like she comes to pick them up from Big Brother's house sort of thing. Just wanted to see if I was right
And yes, I am from Australia and all I heard of was "it's time to go" so "coming to get you" was very new (same with Davina's voice only telling the HMs who is evicted) and I thought she was actually going into the house to go get the HM

no problem Jake.. unlike some others, I am capable of simply answering a question without the need to be a sarcastic b@stard!

good point jakey, davina doesnt actually get them at all. I don't like Davina, so I think it's good she doesnt enter the bb house, as it means we get slightly more time without having to look at her. I don't find her appearance offensive, just her silly dramatics!

It was first used because Davina had to walk from the studio, over a bridge ect in the first and second Big Brother, when it was based in Bow, in London.
And it just stuck, also right up to Big Brother 4/5, she would be in the studio when talking to the house in the second show, then she would say "im coming to get you", the screen would open up and she would walk out and collect/meet the HM on the stage.
Its the same for "You are live on Channel 4 please do not swear" - the first show use to be on between 8.30pm and 9.00pm - therefore before the watershed, and i guess it just stuck really.

Thank you very much Jakey. She looks nice!! anybody but Davina quite frankly. Davina speaks as if we're all slow and stupid. I think it's because she used to do drugs. I like the look of Gretel, hope she speaks softly and elegantly.
I think as presenters go, The guy who does BBLB, Dermot is really good.

I didn't think anybody disliked Davina. I love her. Hated her chat show but love her on BB. Who do you think would be better to do the show?

I have never heard Gretel and elegant in the same sentence haha!
blackgloves, That eviction looks way better than BBUK7's evictions. I feel upset now that I have only started to watch BBUK this year

Yes, im sure it was in BB6 that she announced who would be evicted outside.
I see YouTube have removed the Gretel incident with Michael as ordered by Southern Star Endemol, im glad i watched it before being taken down. she was out of order for talking to him like that, she doesnt own Big Brother!

Yes, lets quote shall we
"Rob, Camilla and Danielle are all up. But only one will go in the biggest eviction yet!"
The next week
"David, Katie and Jamie... who will go? Will the the couples streak be smashed to pieces? This eviction will rock the house down"

It is a phrase so often used she has become a cleche of herself. And the original was awful also.
