It's BB13, but the 2nd series BB series on Channel 5, not BB2, like Niamh said, BB2 was BB2.

I think C5 will call it BB2012.

They will get into serious trouble with their presenter if they call it BB2 :joker:.

That means nothing, that's more to do with YouTube than anything else because there is no other series on it.

Even on BOTS, Emma referred to it as BB12 or CBB8 - tbh Channel 5 can try and call it whatever they want, but as long as there's fans around who still remember and acknowledge the old era of Big Brother, it's going to be Big Brother 13+

Davina always said the year of the series rather than the number.

Yep, but the fans go by the number [and so do the hosts and producers when the series has ended].

Brian stopped going by the number in CBB9 actually, half way through he stopped saying 'To be evicted from the CBB 2012 House..'
Even on the final he was like 'The Winner of Celebrity Big Brother' - the stupid bastard forgot the year, it was weird.

Maybe the producers said he could drop it. Maybe he figured that by that point we knew it was 2012.

I found the saying of the year quite annoying, but think they weren't sure if they wanted to keep up with the old numbers of the complete line of channel 4 series and decided to play it safe by reciting the year. Would prefer Brian uses Big Brother Thirteen and leave it at that.

Why annoying?

It's better, like "The X Factor 2012" or World Cup 2010.

"Big Brother Series Thirteen" doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

I suppose I was more annoyed when he used 2011 because of the extra two syllables. No true discomfort really, but it's either gripe shallowly about this or talk about Mollie's Chambers. :joker:
