February 2nd, the day where according to legend cute fury groundhogs emerge from their burrows after weeks of hibernation and, based on whether or not they can see their shadow, predict whether spring will come early or not.

The most famous groundhog of all is Punxsutawney Phil popularized in the movie Groundhog Day. His predictions in the last decade have been:
2000: Long winter
2001: Long winter
2002: Long winter
2003: Long winter
2004: Long winter
2005: Long winter
2006: Long winter
2007: Early spring
2008: Long winter
2009: Long winter
2010: Long winter
2011: Early spring
His prediction this year is...
2012: Long winter :bawling:

I swear last year we had spring in like January and it was Summer by March or something. It was lovely :love: Beach in April :amazed:
But not this year :(
