You know what seems pointless to me... Posting in a thread you aren't remotely interested in.
For example, you don't see me posting in a Rihanna thread, or a Football thread. Neither of these things interest me in the slightest. Both of them bore me to death.
I see no purpose in this except to troll or bate the other users.

it is art and it is cool, i remember being amazed at the crown paint ad a droplet of paint splash...fab, whats rubbish and pointless? MP's ...space exploration... jeremy kyle...dont get mr started...

Nice series of pictures.
Shame its not a speeding bullet, its an air rifle pellet. The photographer even says its speed was 260 m/s. sort of gives you a clue.

Second clue was in the Mails own article, in the blue box detailing "How the process works".
Para E states Precise calculations are used to measure exactly when the drop and pellet arrive at the same point. The whole process takes 28 milliseconds.
