Channel 5 has kicked off a hunt for contestants to appear in The Bachelor ahead of the anticipated commission of a second series.
A casting call for single women aged 20-35 has been issued by C5 for the show, produced by Shed Media-owned Ricochet.
Insiders said that no green-light had yet been given to a follow-up series but the broadcaster was keen to prepare the way.
A string of potential bachelors have been linked to appear in the second series, including The Only Way Is Essex’ Kirk Norcross, but no decisions regards talent have yet been made.
The first series marked the first move from Shed Media to tap into its Warner Bros’ catalogue.
It aired last autumn drew an average audience of 1.2m as rugby player Gavin Henson picked a girlfriend from 25 hopefuls.
