Anyone have any ideas as to why they are waiting so long to replace George. They normally do it within a few days of the previous leaving but they haven't in his case. Anyone have any ideas as to why?
i heard a new one was going in on wednesday

Not a new maxwell though surely??? lol
I think he was the first housemate who i truly hated, i was bouncing of my ceilings when he got evicted last year.

Entertainment wise he was great though, he made the night viewing with his mummy impressions and loads of other stuff. The night viewing this time has been really poor.

Yeah - if it wasnt for maxwell and them lot nothing would have been happening late at night last year - the others were boring and went to bed early. They were the entertainment for me last year as they were so funny

I suppose if you hate a character you find it hard to laugh at him/her even if they are funny becuase you dont really want to let yourself laugh at him/her

That is true. I dont like Richard but i admit he can be funny.
this is why i think they shud scrap the UK way of evicting housemates and bring in the USA style.
im assuming youve all seen how BB USA works?

i said this 2wks ago & got slated for it! the UK BB is crap compared to the US BB.
in the US version, the public have nothing to do with who gets evicted, its all done by the HMs! so the HMs nominate who they want out & the 1 with the highest votes is evicted. if its a draw between 2 or 3 HMs then the HoH (head of the house - you win this in a task & if you are the HoH you cannot be nominated, there's a new HoH every week) decides who goes!
oh, & then there's the PoV (power of veto). basically, if 1 of your chums is about to get the axe & you have the PoV, you can save that person & nominate someone else!!! pretty cruel process. the US version encourages backstabbing, you can talk about nominations & you are aloud to influence peoples votes. there is actually something to play for in the US version. also, the prize money is huge, so everyone who goes in the house wants to win because its a competition.
oh, & the HMs who are evicted stay in another house until its left to the final 2, then the winner is the 1 who is choosen by the evicted HMs. so the public have no say what so ever! the US BB could make a killing with the phone ins but their way is by far better. its a tactical game.

I hope they put in a man it would be great to see the girls swooning around him. Mickey ( I love myself ) would have his nose pushed out of joint. Come on big bro put a nice fit bloke in there soon.:spin2:

The US BB sounds much better!!!! Plus it would be frustrating for the public!!!!

I did think there'd be one more housemate, but they're taking a while!

I believe the Bonnie, Dawn, Glyn eviction was originally supposed to be a double eviction until Dawn left.
That would mean they have the number of housemates they planned for at this stage.
And I think removing the public vote from the show would reduce its popularity.

thats crap. Big brother has always been about the public, and that's what makes it so special, and what about the whole "you decide" idea?
I really hope BB UK get not ideas from BB USA, have you seen their opening titles? so corny and lame. And have you seen an eviction? They get thrown out and go straight into a studio... no crowd, and it happens IN THE DAY.
OH YEAH, THEY HAVE HALLS.
THATS RIGHT. HALLS.
WHO THE HELL PUTS HALLS IN THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE?!?!?!?!

I'd say it had something to do with the world cup, maybe an important game is on one friday and they don't want to do an eviction because no-one will be watching, therefore they need one less person in the house.

Why does the guy have to be 'fit'. Dimodim is it and what interest has she been? Bring in someone intelligent with a bit of class.

He doesn't have to be fit but it would be nice to give the females something to look at, the guys have Imogen as their main eye candy and to be honest all of the men look dull. Plus the fact that bringing in a fit guy will make Nikki, Lea, and the rrest of the girls think hmm hes nice and see if they act on it.

have you seen how big america is?!? if they had crowds at the eviction it would be a flippin mass concert!!! corny & lame, well thats the US for you. have you seen their soaps? & as i said, the US BB could make a killing with the eviction process but imagine how many lines they would have to open, the amount of people who would ring in would be incredible. so therefor they had to come up with an easier solution, & the public still tune in because they want to see which HM gets thrown out, there's nuff drama in the US BB. i personally love it. 2yrs ago they showed it on E4 now they dont show it because so many people was tuning in & of course the UK would rather promote their version. the only thing i have a problem with about the UK version is the talking about nominations. there's a fine line & it needs to be explaned clearly. as for "influencing vote" then sure if someone like grace says "i hate richard" than the rest of the group will say/feel the same & therefor will nominate him because their friend dislikes him, if you catch me meanings...
anywayz, back to the topic - yes a new HM should replace george. an intelligent 30 something male, someone like a science or maxwell imo.

Id like to see a gay guy just to see is Rich picks him off because he wants to be the only gay guy or to see if they get on. Or even better a bi sexual so everyone is happy. I would like to see a late 20s guy so he fits with both old and the young groups

I can understand them waiting due to the susie factor and not wanting to take anything away from her week in the house but no reason not 2 bring someone in now. Would brighten the house up having a new person. We could then see if Lisa, Mikey and Imogen actually bother getting to know the new person minus manipulating Grace.:spin:

Waiting for England's result tonight, as an England Quarter Final could fall on a Friday, thus they'll cancel an eviction, probably. If England play on a Friday they won't put anyone new in.

On the New HM issue: I hope they put in a male. One with a personality preferably, and with no gender confusion issues :conf: This would affect how the girls behave in the house.
At the moment, the girls aren't really bothered about anything because they feel like there is nobody to impress. It would be funny to see them act up to catch the attention of a fit bloke.
On the BB USA issue: It's the biggest load of b0llocks I have ever watched. Just my opinion. But, if UK takes that style on, they will lose phone-vote revenue and fans... so I don't think it will happen.

sry but thats not how its done...i live in the US and every week they have a competition to see who is the next HOH this person nominates the two housemates they want up for eviction. NOBODY ELSE NOMINATES!!!! It is always two housemates as well. This version is very poor compared to yours and most of the people that stay are from annoying alliances. You should be lucky that you have yours I wish we had that format!

George left on Day 13 and now on Day 35, rumour has it a new person will go in, that is a long time to replace someone.
I find it exceedingly doubtful that the first eviction would be a double eviction. Losing two of the house mates that they have gone through such a supposedly careful selection process to pick just seems unlikely.
As for removing the public vote, think of the money it makes for the show several hundred thousand pounds per week. Removing the public vote just isn’t going to happen the money involved is just too great. Damn it that’s got to be a first agreeing with Stropz.
I heard a rumour that the person they picked was discovered to be an armed robber and so was deselected, though at which point and when this was I’m not sure.
I think it might be hard considering the number of people who have left, they just weren't ready for quite so many.

well they are taking their time replacing him and if a new housemate is going in next week isnt that suposed to be part of a twist anyway so they wont really be replacing george, unless they just arent replacing george

England won there group and now play on a Friday.
If my wild theory is correct, they will not replace George now, and have an eviction free week.
Of course, they could still replace him and move the eviction.
