View Full Version : Have I been wrong about Nikki?

I went from finding Nikki extraneous (at best) to actually liking her as one of my top fav HMs.
I really thought she was showing personal growth, and a sensitive side of her personality. I think most of all I thought she was fancying Pete, and not for his *ahem* or anything - I thought she saw a kindred soul in him and liked him for that.
I thought that Nikki was getting over her shallow "fit guy / footballer" thing and seeing that it was more important to look for real people.
Now I think that she has a much, much longer way to go before (if) she ever changes.
Seeing her still going on about getting a "fit guy" in the house has really bothered me. I would have backed her all the way to the top three, but now, I don't know.
No wonder Pete doesn't fancy any of the girls in the house. Every one of them is just shallow.
Grumble, mumble. :conf:

I think she is use to saying "fit guy" and thats what the "in crowd" have always said and her friends etc but deep down she would be happy for a nice guy. I think her party days are far from over though so cant see her settling down at all yet.

Yeah I agree I can't see her settling down either. I like her for the simple fact that she's entertaining to watch and a funny character in general. But at the end of the day we all know she just wants a fit guy, to be rich - all the materialistic stuff, and she says stuff about being 'deep' to try and cover it up. Whatever she feels though, I still think she's ace and she's one of my top housemates too.

I'm not sure if that is her wanting the rich guy or just what she thinks she would enjoy. With Nikki she doesn't seem to know what or who she wants and I find her very unsure of people...she is easy to manipulate and doesn't see that the likes of Lisa and Imogen are meant to be her "friends" bitch about her all the time. Behind in the bb envirnment I would expect her to be a little bit more conclusive sticking with her own thoughts on people and not being led by others.

She's still 24, I think she will always be materialistic but as she grows older, her superficial dreams will become less important.

I also think she does realise how wrong she can be. in the dairy room she seemed very annoyed at herself for liking fit guys rather than how great the person is when she was talking about Pete. I think that was not just for show there was something more to it.

Yeah and with her tantrums she's not doing anyone any favours! :spin2:
Lol but that all adds to the fun in the BB house.
But yeah, she's still young at 24 so has time for growing up yet.

I think she will learn alot about herself in the bb house and when she gets out she really has a good chance of fixing all the temper stuff and becoming a nice girl. She needs to realise that there is more to life than money though.

When was that? I should go back and watch it again - because I want to like Nikki, I really really do. I want her good side to win out over her shallow side!

i think she's gone on the biggest jorney of all the HM's, she admits she wines and losses t, but she can laugh at herself and knows that this is the reason that shes up for nomination.
I think she's tops, and to be honest the only person that will end up with the "celebrity" status at the end of it

I wouldn't go that far at giving her celebrity status, but she is brilliant - no denying that and very likeable. Her tantrums may go over the top at times but I like her and think she's great! :hello:
