I only just went back and watched Nikki doing an American accent in the DR, to imitate Richard.

It was great! I want to hear more! I replayed it like three times, it was so funny - she really could fool me into thinking she was American if she kept that up.

The American accent's quite easy to pull off. But yeah, haha Richard IS Canadian.

Well, it's hard to tell what accent he's got at this point, but you're right.

Nikki imitating him sounded like a perfect American accent to me, though. And I should know :wink:


It's funny though how a person's accent affects your perception of them. For that moment she was doing the imitation, I completely saw her differently, like she could have been one of my friends from home. Wierd.

I thought it was hilarious it really sounded convincing! And it wasnt racist - as any race can have a canadian accent!

Not quite the word I meant there but I think its easy to mock someone who people are not use to, plus by the end of the show Im sure they will all pick up on parts of each others phrases etc

I don't do any other accents, but when I'm overseas people sometimes mistake my Chicago/New York accent for an Australian one.

And no, it doesn't sound Australian at all. People can just be a bit thick in the ears. :xyxwave:
