DeNiro is amazing but I never think his characters are hugely different, where as you have Pacino going from Tony Montana in Scar face to Frank Slade in Scent of a Woman

They both fell off in the past 10 or so years and are obviously just doing 95% of their films for the money and not cos the script is good, but their performances are still usually good in them. Righteous Kill should never have happened though.

Oh, and Pacino's performance in Scent of a Woman > everything
