Most of these children have never seen Nicholson play the Joker so the poll is invalid

Ledger preformance is subpar at best
Not even close to the best thing he'd done
Niamh.

well, so far the two people who voted Heath would remember when Jacks joker first came out so your argument is invalid :idc:

Burton's Batman films are the only good superhero movies ever. The rest are terrible, espically Nolan's crap

Is quite proud that this thread came from my Scarface thread :')
I've seen both and tbh I did think Jack was great..can't lie
but that was before I watched Heath....it just can't be beaten.
..went to see it 4 times....just for Heath's performance

Black Dagger hasn't even seen the Burton Batman films. The poll has been corrupted.

I think Jack was by far the better joker tbh both of them played the part well but Heaths joker was too serious and too revealing, Jack was basically THE joker straight from the comics funny, witty, evil & psychotic.

Jacks joker was like a cartoon character, Heaths was dark and deadly.
Scarlett.

What about Mark Hamill's (Luke Skywalker) Joker?

Yeah, you're right my vote shouldn't count really. I guess i was put off by him in Ten things i hate about you and when the new batman movies came out they always looked too actiony/ blockbusterish from the trailers as opposed to Tim Burtons kind of black humourness in films
But I'm really cynical when it comes to films, someone made me watch Date Night the other night and it nearly ended up in homocide

Heath's. Nicholson is a much better actor in general though

Enjoyed both of them as TJ. Jack was more fun, so I gave him the edge.

Jack Nicholson because he played Joker how he is SUPPOSED TO BE. Heath's performance was outstanding don't get me wrong but he wasn't how Joker is "known" if you like.
As someone else said, Joker is supposed to be like a cartoon character almost.

The only reason Heath is winning is because all the ladies fancy him. Ladies should not be allowed to vote. In anything. :bored:

Heath. Easily. Jack's was a pantomime character. Heath's was a genuinely troubled and disturbing psychopath... it was more real.

I like the concept of Ledger's Joker better than the concept of Nicolson's Joker of this intelligent psychopath who wants to watch the world burn. But the reason I voted for Ledger is the nurse scene which I think is probably what got him the oscar. That scene is epic. Nicolson's Joker is often funny but sometimes comes across as very cartoony.
However, I like the movie Batman better than the Dark Knight because Batman never tries to convince you that this is the real world. It knows what it is and does it well. It's almost as if Dark Knight is ashamed of being a superhero movie and was trying to be something else and tries to convince you that this could happen in real life. And the CGI on Two-Face looked ridiculous.
The only reason Heath is winning is because all the ladies fancy him. Ladies should not be allowed to vote. In anything. :bored:

Ceaser Romero but as he isn't on the list then I would have to go with Heath only on the basis that he was more a psychopath than Nicholsons.

to be honest though the problem with the Dark Knight, and nolan batman movies in general, isn't Ledger but Christian Bale. He was amazing in American Psycho, but is a terrible batman
