Late last year, Diplo said he was readying a new EP called Express Yourself. That's yet to materialize, but this week, he offers up a new track by the same name as a single on Mad Decent's Jeffree's imprint. Featuring Nicky B, it's a pretty literal take on classic bounce.

Nickesse Toney, the New Orleans bounce artist better known as Nicky Da B, has reportedly died. Nicky's management confirmed the news, though details are currently unknown. He was 24.

Toney is perhaps best known for his featured spot on Diplo's single "Express Yourself". He released an album, Don't Forget About Da B (below), in 2012 and performed to a sold-out crowd at the Sydney Opera House that year.

His management shared this statement:

"It is with heaviness in our hearts today that we confirm the passing of Nicky Da B. Nicky was a beautiful soul and we will always be grateful for his magnetic personality and loving spirit. We were inspired by his talent as much as his tireless optimism, compassion and humility. Our condolences go out to his family at this time."
