I only found out the proper way today (Go-tee-yay, or like Gauthier)... just wondering how you pronounced it before you found out (if you didn't know from the beginning)

My mom asked me who sung the Somebody That I Used to Know song the other day and I didn't know how to pronounce his name. I know it's Go-tee-yay now but I used to think it was Got-yuh.
Thought it was Got-yeh. But the real pronunciation reminds me of how nobody can pronounce Mutya. Mu-tee-ya, not Moot-yah.

It's because it kinda looked it, so rather than going to the trouble of finding out how it's properly pronounced, any time I read it, I'd say goatee in my mind. I never thought there was going to be a poll asking about it :D
