My favourite song from a film is Rule the World by Take That from Stardust. My favourite soundtrack would probably be Love Actually.

But got to disagree about The Island. I watched it last night and it had great potential but they turned it into a cliched action romp.
If they focused more on the story it would have been better.

There are so many well known and lesser known classics I like, it's hard to pick just one. Some of my favourites are cheesy classic pop songs like "You're the Best" by "Joe Esposito", "Fame" and "Flashdance" by "Irene Cara", "Maniac" by "Michael Sembello".:)
Most of my favourite film soundtracks are by the likes of "Morricone", "Goblin", "Vangelis", "Frizzi" etc. Excluding those though, I would probably choose between "Last Action Hero" or "Pulp Fiction" not sure? "Grease" is a classic even though I hate most musicals.
Favourtie film song is probably either "Eye of the Tiger" by "Survivor", "Angry Again" by "Megadeth" or "Cemetery Gates" by "Pantera", although "Cemetery Gates" wasn't produced exclusively for the the film and I'm not even sure if it was included either.
If I could just pick one then probably "Eye of the Tiger" from "Rocky III".:)
