Victorian times or even earlier,i find i am drawn to that kind of era,I LOVE costume dramas such as Downton abbey,Jayne Eyre and things like that,I like the fact there was no electricity as such, the old gas lamps seem so atmospheric,so although times were hard,I think that sort of period although I also love 60s stuff aswell.

The headgear doesn't look comfortable...I've lifted something similar..they're really heavy...I reckon they didn't have very long necks

Electric Ladyland Studios NY.
I want to go back in time to Give
Jimi Hendrix a Boss DD6
very small foot control Digital Delay and Backwards Reverb
I would set it up and let him play.
It would fit in his normal guitar lead
and is Powered by my own Lithium PP3 Battery inside it.

I like the idea of 1950s America... just because of the rise of Hollywood stars like Dean, Monroe, Bardot, Davis etc... and the birth of rock and roll. Imagine discovering Elvis for the first time.
The main drawback obviously would be the inequality. Which is why I usually say the 60s because of the chance to be a part of civil rights movements, to be at the MLK speech, and of course experience the best music of all time. Woodstock would've been incredible. Or the massive 1970 Isle of Wight festival where Hendrix drew in about 600,000 people.

80s music wasn't all bad. Just the chart Stock Aitken and Waterman stuff (like Bros / Kylie / Bananarama)
The Cure, The Smiths, The Jam, The Human League, Pet Shop Boys, Madonna, Prince, MJ, Bowie was still good :p, U2 (the Joshua Tree), Stone Roses, The Las, Pixies, Queen, Depeche Mode, Kate Bush, Joy Division, Talking Heads...

The late Tudor period to mid Stuart period in history,I am fascinated by that period, however I wouldn't likely have lived that long as I would have wanted to be involved in all I could to save Mary, Queen of Scots and also to fight solidly for King Charles 1 against Cromwell and the parliamentarian forces.
...I don't know how I'd forgotten this 80's tune...one of my all time favourites....7m94ip38UKs&ob=av2e

If I could be the same age as I am now I would have loved to be born in 1982 then I could have experienced Madonna's and all of my other idols adventure in full. It would have been amazing if I could have attended her tours that she did. I was watching clips of M's Blond Ambition tour from Wemberly and I was so excited about going, whoops not in 1990 xoxo. The news of Whitney dying made me sad is that I would have loved to have seen her live in her prime.

Lucky you! Athough you were unable to go to the concert the fact that you was around in that era must have been amazing. Hearing the likes of Like A Prayer and Express Yourself in the charts would have been fantastic. I am so sad that I could not have experienced things like this, I would have gone pronto!
