It's the new operating system upgrade like, Windows 7 was to vista, I don't think much has been said about it yet though

I've seen that screen before with the weird squares with like IE and stuff. I don't know if I like it. Chrome > IE. I hate IE so much I removed it completely by going into the system files when I got my laptop in Christmas 2010 haha.

I like the look of Windows 8 tbh. The new Metro-fied start menu is gorgeous. :lovedup:

But Mountain Lion (the new version of OS X) has the edge in its cohesiveness. Windows 8 looks disjointed atm.

As a mac user, i think it's silly for anyone to be upset about Microsoft's design aesthetic. Since when is Microsoft about design? Isn't that the criticism Windows users always hurl at Mac users, that Mac is all about design, and Windows is all about functionality? Since when did design matter to Windows users?

True, I'd never go back to it now. But I know many people still used it when Vista came out and continued to use it until Windows 7. And I don't blame them.

I was one of them, Vista had so many complaints that people just didn't buy it, thankfully Microsoft had the sense to release Windows 7
