I don't know how many remember, but last year I posted a thread about a very beloved teacher at my school who commited suicide in a horrible way.

Well now it's on the sun's homepage.

It's disgusting. It really is. Why would a newspaper need to post about that? It's too personal. I'm so angry, is that crazy?

I won't post the link, but it's on the homepage if you look

I just read it, I think. About the A-level results?

That is disgusting. Especially because it is the sun. Stuff like that should be kept private.

I am glad his wife understands though, she sounds like a strong woman.

thats the one ben.
It's disgusting. He was a brilliant teacher. He really was the most loved teacher there. This article gives him and our school a bad name.

I can't say I'm surprised... there is no end to that newspaper's, or Murdoch's, depravity.

That is sad. Well those that knew him know otherwise, and (to generalise here) people who read The Sun are usually not worth worrying about if they form opinions based on this paper.

Loads of people are complaining. It's really upset some pupils in school, I'm not surprised.

I saw yesterday it was at the top of the daily mail website and remember you posting about it. Disgusting that they're bringing it back up and not just letting his loved ones grieve in peace.

Whats worse is that there are details on that page they pupils from the school weren't allowed to know because it was too personal and it was too much for us to hear. but now it's out in the public. I'm just so upset.

Unfortunately there is no low The Sun or Murdoch's papers will stoop too.

I agree that certain information should have stayed private for the sake of his family and affected pupils.

My thoughts to everyone who has been affected by this tragedy and RIP to the guy:(.

That's dreadful. The Sun is a disgrace, always has been. There is no respect whatsoever for the man's family or others affected like the pupils. Murdoch is lucky the Widow doesn't sue him. Appalling.invasion of privacy.

As horrible as this may seem, this is nothing new from Newspapers and it happens. Just because he's a teacher they won't give a **** if it may upset Pupils he taught etc.

"Mr Symons's wife Linda Davies and mother Amyra have been "inconsolable with grief " after he was stabbed to death by an intruder who broke into his £1million home in Chiswick.

Mr Symons's daughters Harriet, five and Melissa, three, were upstairs asleep when it happened at 4.30am yesterday. "

That bit still saddens me to this day when I think about it and this was back in 2004.

 It's really horrible that they would publicise something like this.. Especially since children were affected, completely horrible.

the fact that they were posting details about his death is awful, no matter how often it happens.

I know how it feels, even though I experienced it through the local paper

I see where Novo is coming from though. Newspapers do this all the time as I said before. It's how they operate. I understand your angry as you knew the person but the article genuinely isn't any different to other ones about people leaving us.

Why are they bringing it back up? I remember you saying about it last year - but was there something to it?

I thought it was just a normal suicide, bit strange for them to report on it a year later for no reason?

Ninastar

I don't know. I'll ask about it in school tomorrow
