A three-year-old McDonald's Chicken McNugget has been drawing bids of more than $350 (£220) on eBay.
The item, being sold by Rebekah Speights, bears a resemblance to the first American president George Washington, according to Sioux City Journal.
Speights, from Dakota City, recalled the time she came across the chicken nugget. She was eating at a McDonald's with her children when she was about to throw away the leftover food.
She said: "I looked down at the McNugget and just started laughing. I saw this portrait of George Washington staring back at me."
Speights stored the chicken nugget in her freezer but was eventually convinced to put it up for auction for charity for the Family Worship Center in Sioux City.
Yesterday (February 23), the highest bid was at $356 (£225).

I think she already said it. The words, "Only in America" is a popular saying outwith America. You not living outwith America, means you may not be familiar with the phrase.
Nutters are everywhere in the world - here too, but given the far higher population in America; there will be pro-rata, more nutters in America, than there are here: so the chances of this type of thing happening in America, are far greater than over here - simply due to the vast difference in population numbers. I'm sure you realise that but I thought perhaps you needed it explained since you are taking umbrage.
To balance it out a bit and make you feel a bit better...years ago there was a Fray Bentos steak and kidney pie auctioned on ebay uk - it had cost something like £1.79 to buy.
It sold at auction for about £4 PLUS post and packing !! :D
The guy who bought it, left feedback saying it arrived promptly, in good condition. He'd ate it and it was great! Mental :D

Indeed. I bet they are also the type of people that then whine because they have no money, despite the fact they have pissed theirs down the drain on ****.
