I echo the views from Ben. I think you guys are too quick to slate us when you don't even know what we do. I'm not particularly interested in what mods do behind the scenes; that's part of the role of a mod - and that comes with the territory.

I've voted purely on the way some of the mods interract with other forum members: and offer up posts that they would infract or ban others for.

Prime example is the Jesus H Christ's current signature - and I know that's hardly uncommon a type of post from (one or two) mods whenver they feel like it.

I've seen some (thankfully not all and not the majority) of mods posting very similar type vicious nasty comments on the forum that ordinary fms simply would not get away with, so it's all about the interactions that the fms do see that I've based my votes on - not what goes on behind the scenes.

I agree with this. None of the mod team needs to go (well except the inactive ones). We all contribute to the team in our own way, and most decisions on here are decided by the whole team not just the one mod.

Members will hold grudges against mods they have run-ins with. We are all used to that by now and learn to deal with it. :hugesmile:

Rules that allow mods to be abusive to other members? Rules that allow frequent barrages of being called all sorts but it does happen and not without frequency. This isn't however a slagging off session - it's more an explanation as to why I personally have voted those that I have.

I really don't see the point in this thread at all. If anyone has a problem with a mod all they need do is take it up with them via PM or report them. Just the same as you would with any FM.

These people give up a lot of their time so you have a forum to post on and are quite lenient to some other forums. We should be thanking them not running a poll as to who should go.
