Since nobody - and I mean nobody - checks "appreciation thread"s. Second single off of MDMA.

Again I LUV it! It is a return to her best music, dance, and very similar to the likes from Confesssions... It will go great in the clubs and it will be great on tour (super excited now!!!). With other songs like Masterpiece and Turn Up The Radio MDNA looks like a fab album!

It is also similar to this, Broken was recorded during the making of Celebration.

It's not bad. But it's very generic like most dance music nowadays. The beat sounds familiar, but it's catchy. It's like a song that you're getting ready for it to hit its stride but it never quite gets there.

Dare I say Mrs Original is conforming to the norm instead of setting the trend?

And I really despair at the "DJ playing my favourite song" line. So cliche and used in most songs nowadays. Is there a competition I'm unaware of?

"Hey Mr. Dj put a record on I wanna dance with you baby!" Madonna 2000.

Exactly, come up with something new Madge. You're slipping.

The full version starts with a verse from Act of Contribution, it is good that now she has finally started to reconise her past after being so stubbon about her past achivements. At least she is paying tribute to herself, unlike others...

If you're talking about the cheesy prayer then yeah, that's very "Madonna" but apart from that the entire beat and the lyrics has been done over and over the past few years.

She's known for setting trends not following them so I'm suspecting she's not got much left in her. She should stick to touring her greatest hits.

Should have been the lead single. I love it, going to be a huge hit. Haters/monsters will hate. :idc:

I reconise that beat so much :suspect: I think it could be She Makes Me Wanna by JLS..

Its a good song though :) Hope it does well over here

Another thing, I wish the HEYYEYEYEYEYEY bit was more wild because its a bit flat

Boring, as it is Madonna she won't get criticised much.

Only heard this a couple of times, but it doesn't really do anything for me. Usually I like all her singles at first then I get bored of them.

I wonder if this one will be a grower..

I like the intro to the album version, and I'm sure I'd like this if I was in a club, but otherwise I'd feel no compulsion to listen to this

Would probably be alright in a club, especially a remix as it's quite dull as it is. Otherwise not a patch on the fabulous Give Me All Your Luvin'

It sounds like a 2008-2009 song, tbh I am starting to like it more

After saying all that yesterday I was sat in class and actually found myself humming this tune. The "Hey-ey" bit, think it's definitely a grower it gets stuck in your head.

But, the lyrics are just so cliche (especially the "turn me on" and "dj" bits) I don't want to like it. lol
