I'll take it soon. I don't think I'll do too well as I don't really follow the British culture including Fish & Chips etc.

When it's World Cup or Euro season I am am as British as you get though:laugh:

I'm not really sure what point Channel 4 is trying to make by posting this test. Of course many people are going to get very few right because the test is not made up of stuff the majority of us would need to know during the course of a day. However, if we were trying to become citizens in this country, we wouldn't just be faced with the test cold. So perhaps a better option, if you want to see how British you are while giving yourself the same opportunity to understand the test that immigrants who actually take the test get, have a look at this: http://lifeintheuktest.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/ and then take the test.

And don't worry if you still don't pass. Like it says on the Border Agency's site (although the Channel 4 piece doesn't say this when it tells you you've failed): " [the test is] based on the handbook 'Life in the United Kingdom: A Journey to Citizenship', which you can buy from the Stationery Office. Don't worry if you don't pass the test the first time that you try it; you can try again when you feel ready. There's no limit to the number of times you can take the test".

Mine's not a test Shaun... I was just trying to explain that people taking this test for real get time to read up on the answers and then take the test as many times as they like.

We did this in Citizenship a while back. It's ludicrous that this is a requirement in order to become a British citizen. I haven't ever seen a single British person pass, and the questions aren't at all, or hardly relevant to anything that the immigrant needs to know. I actually find the whole thing quite laughable.
