Great news. As someone who has little/no interest in team england, and the **** that goes with it, I hope Stevie tells them all to **** themselves and retire from the international team.
Scholes benefited from retiring early, lets hope he follows his lead.

Parker > Gerrard
I'm not bitter. I don't like any Liverpool players playing for any national team, but the In-ger-lund team is just that little bit more poisoned.
It's good news. I hope Gerrard ****s them off once and for all.
Good decision, pleased for him

I'd have preferred Steven Gerrard but overall Scott Parker isn't a bad choice for this particular game anyway.

Bad decision, probably won't be permanent anyway. I do hope Gerrard retires from International though, too many games and too risky at this stage of his career

Would of given it to Rooney and breed in the new generation but I'm biased.
I just know we are going to have **** like Terry & Barry at the Euros.

He is a 31 year old who in his 15 year career has played for England 10 times.
