http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-17247711
A 17-year-old boy has died after being stabbed in south London following a spate of knife attacks.
The youngster was found with stab wounds on the Moorlands Estate, Brixton, at about 17:50 GMT on Friday and died on the way to hospital.
It followed the stabbing of another boy hours earlier in nearby West Norwood which left the victim critically hurt.
Police are examining whether the attacks were linked to five separate stabbings on 25 February.
It means there have been a total of seven knife attacks all within a small geographical area.
Details of the five stabbings last weekend have only just been released.
Just when you thought it was safe to walk the streets again .....
"Serious youth violence and knife crime has a significant impact on young people, their families, schools and the wider community"...I'm sure that must be out of context, it's a stupid thing to say

A sixth-form student killed during a spate of knife attacks died of multiple stab wounds, a post-mortem examination has found.
Kwame Ofosu-Asare, 17, from Catford, died on the way to hospital after he was attacked on the Moorlands Estate, Brixton, at about 17:50 GMT on Friday.
Police are examining whether the murder was linked to five separate stabbings on 25 February and another on Friday.
The seven knife attacks are all within a small area of south London.
Police said there is no evidence that an eighth stabbing in south London - this one in New Cross on Sunday morning - was connected to the others.
Senior officers and community leaders have appealed for calm following the outbreak of violence, but arrests are yet to be made.
It is believed Kwame was with a companion on the way to his friend's relative's house in Brixton when they were chased by two young men and assaulted.
Kwame's friend was not injured.
The suspects are described as two young black men.

This will happen more and more if that article is true and funding for youth services is cut.
This is disturbing to read - knife crime is horrific, and it scares me that there are people out there doing this for kicks.

An 18-year-old has been arrested over the murder of a teenager who was stabbed to death in south London.
Kwame Ofosu-Asare, 17, of Catford, was found with fatal stab wounds on Moorlands Estate in Brixton on 2 March. He died on the way to hospital.
Police believe the sixth-form student and a friend were chased and attacked by two men. His friend was unhurt.
The 18-year-old man from Lambeth was arrested on Friday on suspicion of murder, police said.
He remains in custody in south London.
A 22-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of murder earlier this month has since been released with no further action.
The Metropolitan Police has said the attack was "random" and that "Kwame could have been attacked by individuals who saw people they did not know on what they perceived to be their territory".
I hope the police have got a perpetrator ..... :idc:

It shouldn't scare anyone. The only reason why this guy was stabbed was because Peckham and Brixton don't get along, and they're always having wars and stabbings if you belong to one of those gangs. Just don't live in either of those places.

Terrible, it must be very frightening for the young people of London to know this is going on all the time.

As I said, Brixton and Peckham are no-go areas for anyone, particularly us whites, so it's not surprising.
