Spill, mine are:
1) I prefer watching Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi
2) I do not think Barcelona's defence is all that
3) There needs to be more FFP rules against the likes of Man City, PSG, Malaga etc
4) I am not keen on Paul Gascoigne despite it apparently being a rule that every footie fan must like the guy.
5) Jose Mourinho is still untested in his work with younger players and this for me is one minus from his obvious great managerial skills.

As a Manchester United fan it pisses me off when Nani constantly hurls himself to the floor, however, he seems to be trying to curb that out recently and has started tracking back when the opposition are on the attack.
He still has his frustrating moments overall, but when on form he is brilliant!

I love Nani.
He's not on Ronaldo level obviously, but he is one of our players where I feel if we need some magic in the dying moments, then him or Rooney can provide that. Reminds me of the number of times Ronaldo saved us back in the day.

OK he did well in managing Blackburn to win the Premier League with Shearer in the side, although apart from that what has he done in his spells at Liverpool?
I heard he was a good player for them and for us SAF was not even at a world class standard player for Rangers, but look at how his management career has progressed;).

Kenny was a great manager in the 80's for us, winning three league titles and two FA Cups (when it meant something) in 5 years, and one of our best players ever, not just "good" :nono:
I don't think playing long ball football is necessarily a bad idea
Big Sam is a great manager, worked wonders with Bolton, was unfairly sacked from Newcastle and Blackburn, and now West Ham fans are getting pissed off despite us being second in a very hard division to get out of, with a game in hand over Southampton and having been unbeaten in out last 8

I do not see nothing wrong with the defensive side of football and I enjoy it, this gets criticised but teams are trying to be hard to break down so they can counter on the attack.
Of course the attacking side gets a lot of praise, but I feel the defensive side does not get as much..

That's fair, it was more directed at bbfan for implying Kenny hadn't done anything in either of his spells at Liverpool. Which is nonsense.
Regardless of how he does with Liverpool now, that won't change the fact he was once the best manager in the league.

He signed Shearer for them when he was a promising youngster. He had a strike rate of about 1 in 4 at Southampton, so it's not quite fair to say he had Shearer. He signed and helped develop him.
I think he should probably move upstairs at the end of the season, not because he hasn't improved our football, because he has, but because of his purchasing of pace-leass, average British players, when we were lacking pace and creativity.
Fergie took 7 years to win the league but finished 2nd in his second season, so maybe you need to be a little more forgiving of the failures of others?

No one could do that to Kenny at Liverpool. Kenny is responsible for those signings, not Comolli. They have both said that Comolli cannot sign players without the managers agreement.

Yeah, it did take Fergie a while but obviously it would have building a club from scratch after the Munich disaster when the likes of Busby died.
Kenny has been rather hit and miss but fair play to him on winning you the Carling Cup this season, some LFC fans were saying it was going to attract world class players but we all know that is not true.
I would be saying the same if it was the only chance of United winning a cup this season, which we might still end up trophyless!
I am not saying Kenny wasn't the best in his Era he probably was by a distance but Bobby Moore is regarded as the best center back ever by a lot of people and when Pele says your the greatest player he's ever come up against and Fergie says your the best defender ever then you know your amazing

Are you joking? Fergie had nothing to do with rebuilding the club after Munich. Fergie joined the club in 85. Munich was 58. Busby rebuilt the club himself.
Oh dear - people wonder why man u fans get a bad rap.
bbfan1991

I think some of Liverpool's problems stemmed from the sell of Xabi Alonso because wasn't Rafa convinced that the player had agreed to join Real Madrid in the Summer mid season and there was the Barry business, adding to that the buying of players that turned out to be average for them.
Every club has their fair share of bargains or flops!
