For the sake of not spamming anymore this will be my last thread for the night.
Which decade did you prefer?

00s because I remember more of it and lived through the whole thing. :spin2:

Both had plus points the 90s wins as i was in my 20's though ;)

00's had the internet, like proper internet with websites that didn't look like a coloured in spreadsheet with links and pictures. The 90's can't compete with that.

Not a chance, 90's music is far superior to the 00's.

Yeah, but the 90's had actual real life. Much more enjoyable.

This, except the opposite way around. Can't choose.

I agree with 00's having better music. And video games. And football (being a Liverpool fan). So yeah, I much prefer the noughties.
90's kids TV though was so much better.

I wish I was older during the 90s.
90s Music>>>>>The **** we have now. 90s and very early 00's Tele>>>>>>
I can imagine this version of me watching Man United in 99. I would of been going insane.
Let's just agree that both are better than the 10s

Yeah, it's been a dull decade so far. Nothing really defines it properly for me.
The early noughties, where I was of an old enough age to actually have clearer memories of it but it was still before I had any real responsiblities, probably got a rose-tinted view of it as well I guess. When it comes to music, film and stuff I'm not really bothered though

in Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time, there are 22 songs from the '90s. But there're 26 from the '00s. :idc:

The only really defining things IMO have been deaths. bin Laden, Jong-il, Gaddafi, Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse... which is sad. I hope more positive things happen.

the 00s is good because it had better music, fashion, games, television (no I don't give a **** about some stupid 90s gameshow), technology etc.. but the 90s 'way of life' sounded more fun.. so I don't know

late 90's imo! Much better music, for me! Hip Hop R&B, Rock, one hit wonders! TV was better as well, no craap reality shows. Internet was around, but in moderation. No cell phones, people actually hang out all the time. going to concerts were a must. I was in my teens also, no responsabilities! :)
And Bill Clinton! :D
Early 2000s were good too though!

Technology was obviously limited in comparison to now, but I'm sure in two decades' time we'll have moved on from the era of modern smartphones and mutually agree that iPads are just a bulky equivalent of the exact same thing.
I'd go with the noughties. More tolerant attitudes and school/college textbooks weren't just a diatribe of information. Both do have their pros and cons, though.

In 98/99 we had such hope for the future, we didn't expect a 10 year war to happen. We just thought everything was going to get more and more awesome.
It all went downhill when people stopped wearing Khakis and went back to Jeans, that's when the party ended.

How could you say that, Future Love/Sex Sounds, B'Day, Good Girl Gone Bad, Confessions and The Emancipation of Mimi are all classics released in 2004-2007. Those years were the best years for music, I truly couldn't give a **** about some dull band from the 90s

Definitely the 90's. Plus there was that whole cool Britannia thing going on. Britpop, triphop and then bands like Radiohead that sort of were just inbetween.
