I downloaded this film yesterday and spent my evening watching it. I did not have huge expectations but golly I am blown away.
At points I was laughing, at 3 moments I cried a little and at one point I completely broke down with buckets of tears streaming down my face. I cannot put into words how much I adore this film now. It is most definitely my favourite film that I have ever seen. I love it so much that I wish I had not watched it so that I could watch it for a first time again. I am still very upset from it, it is so inspirational.

Has anyone else seen it?

I love the book but I haven't watched the film yet. Heard it's brilliant though so I'm gonna watch it in the next week.

8.0 on IMDb must be good.

I thought it would be another overrated Oscars film thing. But is it actually as good as they say?

I usually hate most films and find the negative in every part, saying thats wrong, thats wrong etc. But I swear to god this film is not at all overrated. I really think everyone should watch it. The advertising does the film no justice.

I want to see it... but it seems like a token "Oscars feel bad about racism" film. Then again I loved The Blind Side.

No, it doesn't really make you feel bad about racism. You sort of bond and connect with the characters and only feel bad for them, but you feel good for them too.

I don't want to give a lot away though.

This was fantastic. It was so funny in parts in addition to being heartbreakingly sad.

When Hilly got that check calling her Hilly 'Two Slice' Holbrook oh my God. :laugh3:

Niall. I burst out into tears at

the very end with the little girl saying don't go and banging on the window and then also shed a little tear earlier on when the girl was all 'you're my real mommy'

OH MY GOD IKR :bawling:

And when she was hugging her saying "Baby, I have to go now" :bawling:

And when she spoke about what happened to her son. Oh and when Cecilia lost her baby. :bawling:

I don't think it looks that good but you only hear good things about it, so will probably get round to watching it eventually
