Sounds a good date to start the show. A Thursday night as well which means more viewers. Wouldn't mind it starting earlier though. Anytime between middle of May and middle of June is fine for me! But yes they need time to build the show up and not rush into things. I hope they are picking the housemates wisely this time round too.

Jay was asked ahead of Aaron, not surprising
Hmmm.....and not one girl on that line up of guest appearances.
It isn't on their Forthcoming Events page http://www.thelancastriansuite.com/index.php?content=Forthcoming-Events so I'm guessing this is an accidental leak, or maybe they have just put a date in for the sake of designing the poster, until the actual date has been given the go ahead by big Brother to be published.
I wonder if any of the people on this forum who have made the 2nd call backs before know how near they were to the actual launch night and could do the math as I would imagine that the timing is similar to previous years? perhaps they could work it out and post it.

If one showed up, she would just get kicked out of the venue first by sexist BB :nono: All of the memorable female contestants of the last few years were either knocked out early or quit (or were Josie :bawling:)
Female contestants are generally worse tbh

The men the past two years were awful - BB11's was easily the worst male cast ever, apart from Ben and Pepper. BB12 only had Aaron and Anton who were decent on the guy's side as Mark was too much of a pussy to actually have any impact and Harry turned out to be a massive fail in terms of actually doing anything except being a poor man's Rex.
Big Brother will be launching in May (as confirmed on Bit On The Side) - if it doesn't it'll be on during the Olympics, and that's scheduling suicide.
The 'launch party' dates aren't reliable anyway - BB9's Bex advertised the Big Brother 11 party for the week before the show actually begun.

Im looking forward to this, god knows why though as i've hated every C5 series so far.

Dave was decent as well, and what females from BB11 were good housemates? (don't say Sunshine)
Seem to be forgetting Jay from BB12 as well
Edit - actually Shabby was alright I suppose

May, probably the first week as staff have been back about two weeks, Jamie's filmed stuff already, BB's tweeting an facebooking and there's a coming soon page on Applause Store.

Which part of "18th May" do you not understand? Jesus no wonder the contract was renewed with such cretins around.

But won't the extra CBB that follows clash with the Olympics? 10 weeks of BB13 plus 3 weeks of CBB means CBB will be running into mid-August unless they delay it so that "late summer" means after the Olympics. I'd prefer an Olympic break between the 2 series rather than having 2 series run into each other as with BB11/UBB and CBB8/BB12.

Why would you want to meet those people? Not a very enticing bunch.

I've always felt that the women carry the show and the men are mostly background characters.

BB13 - 17 May to 20 July
CBB10 - 30 August to 21 September
that's what i expect anyway

BB13 is 10 weeks so May 18th-July 27th is more likely.
Edit: though July 27th is the Olympic opening ceremony so BB won't finish then.
They told us it would be last week in May or 1st week in June at the callbacks yesterday.

Ah, so it will finish during the Olympics.
Ratings slump to end with?

C5 can try calling it BB 2012 all they like or most stupidly BBC52:joker:, which would be even by C5 standards, utterly ridiculous to even think of doing. Fact is it's BB13 and nothing they can do or say will change that.:idc:

So it can start earlier than that.

Better not be as late as the 21st. I go on holiday on the 18th and I'd at least like to see a week or two before I go away.

How many weeks will this series be on for? Same length as BB12 or longer?
