..without the yo..that doesn't roll off the tongue as easily as halapeno

This is how I say it.
I remember seeing it spelled "Japaleno" on a menu once and my dad ordering it as it was written on there and him being an utter piss taking asshole to the staff at the pizza place, was hysterical :laugh:
