What cuddly toys did you have in your childhood, yes I mean all of you....male/female/straight or gay, surely everyone had a cuddly little creature they took to bed with them ()

I had an Orinoco Womble and an assortment of cute "teddies" including a penguin and a seal

Much to my regret I didn't keep any of them, I gave away all stuff like that when I discovered boys and alcohol  thought I was too grown up and passed them on to younger children in the family and/or charity shops. Shame on me. Lol.

Do any of you actually still have things you've kept from your childhood, or any really memorable ones?

I had hundreds of teddys, I used to collect them. My favourite was a blue bear called Billy, I got him when I was 7 and he shared a bed with me till I was 20  My son has him now and he sleeps in his bed

I also have a bear that my mom had when she was a kid, all his fur is gone though but he has those cool arms and legs that can move

Had a sheep called Derek, and there was Phil the fox too, he used to creep me out a bit actually

Didn't really sleep with them though, they just sat on my shelf

I had my teddy who is now so fragile after 50+ years that he lives in a drawer - no hair no stuffing but I still love him to bits - I also had a panda that is in a cupboard - I washed him and his black ran into the white but he's still my panda bear - and I had a golliwog - sadly the dog got him - maybe just as well as they're not very PC now but I loved mine!!

They were and never once as a child did I think he was anything but a cute toy - shame PC came along and got in the way :(

Yes, the innocence of youth. Political correctness winds me up no end.
