As the fan site Victory Rose Music points out (via TwentyFourBit), the new record from Sigur Rós will be out May 28, according to a new interview with Q magazine. The record, titled Valtari, is the followup to 2008's Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust.
As Q notes, the album's title translates to "steamroller." Frontman Jónsi tells the magazine that "the music kind of just rolls over you" but "in a good way." The album is centered more on electronics, and makes use of strings and a girls' choir. No lyrics are sung in English.
