Well, if she did a Michael Jackson and covered up her child's identity she'd be a freak, so I think beyond doing the bare minimum celebrity things, she's extremely private and isn't selling her wedding photos to people etc. And, meh, I don't know much about the songwriting thing, but I do think that it makes sense to get writing credits on songs because it's far more profitable than just being the person who sings the songs. As for the dad on the Grammy panel thing - yeah, that's a bit weird, but it would be weirder to deny her of awards just because of that, so idk, I think that's just an unfortunate coincidence.

Beyonce will voice Queen Tara in animated movie 'Epic'.


The 'Halo' hitmaker will join a star studded cast including Colin Farrell as Ronin, Josh Hutcherson as Nod, Amanda Seyfried as Mary Katherine, Johnny Knoxville as Mandrake, rapper Pitbull as Bufo and Steven Tyler as Nim Galuu in the new movie from the makers of 'Ice Age' and 'Rio'.

'Epic' tells the story of a teenage girl who finds herself magically transported into a secret universe, where she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters to save that world, which in turn rescues the real world from destruction.

This is the first film Beyonce has signed up to since giving birth to her daughter Blue Ivy in January.

'Epic' will be released May 24, 2013.

Beyonce will next star in the remake of 'A Star Is Born', playing an aspiring singer who falls for an older rock star in the movie, which will be directed by Clint Eastwood and his producing partner Rob Lorenzo.

This will be the fourth remake of the movie, with Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson starring in the most recent version in 1976, Judy Garland and James Mason played the lovers in 1954 while the original featured Janet Gaynor and Frederic March.

Beyonce has been busy this year. She welcomed baby Blue Ivy in January and returned to performing in late-May with a series of concerts at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City, but a new, mysterious post on her website has many fans curious if she's preparing to release new music.

"Leave your footprint on 19 August 2012," the brief message states.

The countdown is sure to be a worthwhile announcement of some sort. The possibility of new music is not out of the question. Beyonce has reportedly already started work on her upcoming fifth studio album with OneRepublc singer Ryan Tedder, who revealed he was heading into the studio with Bey to work on new material earlier this year.

The announcement that something is coming arrives, coincidentally, at the same time as an anecdote from British pop singer Conor Maynard, who told the BBC that Queen Bey is going to great lengths in the studio to prevent songs from leaking – which happened with her last album, 4, which leaked in full three weeks ahead of its release last year.

Bey’s team is apparently keen to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

“I've heard some mad stories. With Beyonce, I heard that with her people they'll make sure that there's no-one in the studio," Maynard says. "They go into the studio, wipe it, set up one new session for her to record. Once she's finished recording they move it onto a hard drive. They wipe the studio computer again and then leave."

“I stayed in the tunnel outside the arena to avoid being crushed when all hell broke loose at about 5am. Men were ripping open fire doors that were locked. Once opened, they fought to get through one side of a double door. Children were getting crushed and screaming. It was horrible. By far the worst night of my life.”
