Hmm. I'm quite openminded but I can't stand the likes of Children of Bodom, Atreyu, etc. I do like Avenged Sevenfold though.

Then there's a lot of chart-bothering crap like The Hoosiers, Scouting for Girls, the Wombats, Noah and the Whale (I did love '5 Years Time' though) and Simply Red.

There's loads of pop groups like JLS etc but I don't count them as bands.

I use to hate Black Veil Brides but recently got into a few of their songs so I can't say them now, Probably Slipknot because their music is meh and they rely on their image, which is awesome but still.

And Foo Fighters because they're over rated.

I would say bands such as Slipknot but It's more of a dislike of the genre than the band.

I much prefer bands to solo artists. If this thread was about solo artists I hated, I'd give a long long list. Bands are interesting for me cuz they usually split and the splits are often quite ugly. Its quite compelling to watch.

I dont like boring insipid bands like Keane, 4 non blondes and Deep Blue. Remember 'Whats up' and 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'? Awful music.

Having said that I love Crowded House and World Party. Bands > Solo artists.

Viva La Vida is the only Coldplay song I like, although I'm warming to Princess Of China but I put that down to Rihanna's vocals more than anything. They've always really bored me, I think based on the music video for Yellow (I think? One where Chris Martin's drenched in the rain walking on a beach IIRC) I've just associated them with dull, rainy days :laugh:
