40 runners on the day, can't see that many people wanting to play so just looking for 20 atm. Each person will be allocated 2 horses completely at random.

They have 40 runners on the day Ammi, so nobody will need to make any selections, I will just randomly allocate 2 to all contenders providing we get 20 signups :)

Well Pyramid*,on the rare times I have put a bet on in any race,it would have been more likely that I would have won had the jockey been the one carrying the horse,not vice versa.

It is really sad that again 2 horses died, more really needs to be done to avoid this in the future,reduction in the number of Horses would help and also again reduce the heights of fences. It does ruin the day when any loss of life occurs like this.

It's been the same since I was a kid though Joey. Beechers Brook along with one or two other jumps have always been the main areas of injuries that have required the horses to be put down. They makes small 'improvements' but it doesn't change the final effect. Horses still are injured and have to be put down decades later.
