possibly the worst in 20 years with all the money that has been spent at the Emtyhad stadium it would have to go down as the single greatest performance since Keane destroyed Zidane in 99

Now im a big critic of Fergie all for good resons but that would be one hell of an achievement

Don't know how a United fan can be a Critic of Fergie, the most consistent manager ever over the time he's been there for, you should be worshipping him like a God.

Without Fergie United's trophy collection over the years wouldn't be as half as impressive. You certainly wouldn't have topped Liverpool's league title count.

Yeah it's ridiculous how you're so critical of Fergie, most teams would kill for a manager of his quality and with such a good managerial record

Well it was hardly a big ****ing achievement he brought in the best players at the time your telling me he should be applauded for that

It's not as if they were unheard of an he just realized their talent

I think Alex Ferguson is brilliant, his achievements with Man Utd are incredible.A few weeks ago few would have believed he would be sitting 5 points clear at the top of the Premier League with Man Utd and they have even almost caught up with the far superior goal difference that the also rans from Manchester had then too.
Long and I mean long, may he continue.

The work SAF has done at United is incredible, great Manager and is not afraid to make ruthless decisions even if fans disagree and has had to change his style to adapt to the modern game.

United fans may not agree with every decision SAF does sometimes but he does it for the sake of the club!

Sir Alex Ferguson is a fantastic manager imo, and I agree Legend Killer that if Man Utd beat Man City this season with all the money they've spent then it's very impressive.

I'm an Arsenal fan and I wouldn't have many qualms about saying he's one of the (if not THE) best football managers there's ever been.

What were Keane & King Eric before Sir Alex signed them?

Let's be real.

He 200% has been the main factor behind our success.

Man City should be embarrased. If only Mancini had swallowed his pride in Munich, reprimanded Tevez and just fined him a couple of weeks wages instead of suspending him, they'd have probably won it by now. Funny that decision - which was considered strong management, at the time - will probably cost him his job.

If United win this year then the Premiership is definitely NOT the best league in the world. Credit to Fergie though, if none of the others step up then its his for the taking.

Can't remember seeing a weaker Utd team than this one can't believe they are going to win the league with it. Mancini will definitely go I think, failing to win the league and flopping badly in Europe

How Fergie can plan weeks in advance and know who's playing what game over the span of months and still win is incredible

and I'm not sure what's so good about Mancini tbh..he just seems like a face to me

any manager would buy the players he has, and set them up in an attacking formation and nearly win every game cause the side is that good

TBF Mancini has won things and got far in Europe a couple of times. Three Scudetto's for a manager with less than 10 years experience is actually very impressive. A Club that had Man City's money looking to build a dynasty were always likely to be attracted to Mancini. He was always know as a disciplinarian so the Tevez incident is not that surprising but the way in which they've folded is embarrasing tbh. At the begining of the season City had three attackers on the half way line from defensive corners; they wouldn't dare play that c avalier now,but back then they were scoring goals for fun. What went wrong? David Silva looks like he's played 100 games this season, he looks knackered.

Man City with their money will win the league at some point, might still be this season as there is still all to play for.

One minus about Man City is even though they clearly have talented players, they still lack the team ethics and it's all about individuals/egos atm.

This United team is our weakest, although the other teams need to step up. United winning is a testament to how you need good character, grinding out results and team ethics to win titles etc.

United will improve in the Summer RE new signings and so will all the other teams behind, so the PL will only get more competitive.
