Am such a bad pet owner. Failed as a moggie mother.
Gave her ladyship loads of catnip yesterday & last night - she loved it, was going off her head.
today: ooopppsss....... her wee nose is really inflamed, full of snotters, her eyes are as red as anything and she looks like she's been on great quality cocaine for a solid month.

lmao awww poor thing!
what doesn't kill her makes her stronger though
I remember when my cat went on catnip and he was still old (probably around 13) and he was chasing cards up and down the stairs. They were treats for kittens aswell, they sent him crazy

If I could get her to sit still for 2 mins I'd take a piccy to show the nick of her. I'm convinced she's still as high as a kite.....
She went on a bender about 3am this morning - apartly there were all sorts of creatures hiding in the rug that she had to attack. :laugh2:

What is catnip?
Catnip is a little herb (kinda looks like dried herbs) that cats are attracted to . Cat toys often have it sown into them. you can also grow it in the garden.
you can buy it on it's own and either restuff the toys with fresh nip, or put it onto feathers on their feather sticks. It's like a natural high for most cats - they get all euphoric and then go completely bonkers - like they are on speed or something !!!
It sounds cruel but it's not!!! They love it.
 you're a drug dealer for cats

Aaw, don't worry about it, Pyramid*. Everyone makes mistakes, hun. Just keep doing whatever the vet says and she should be fine.

I did overdo her on it...but I'm not really worried ! I'm more amused. Sick cow that I am, but it could be worse, I could be dressing her up like this when she was tripping outta her nut

:joker: Mine tries to dig his way to Australia via the kitchen floor and then repeatedly punches the catflap. He loves it, he's always jumping up and trying to nick the packet of catnip in the cupboard when i open it

This madam is the same - she can be in another room, sound asleep - but if I dare open that cupboard door up and she hears the slightest rustle of the catnip pack ........................... she's in like a rocket almost knocking me over in the rush
Goddam druggies.

What can I say. She's a drug addict. Sometimes they are difficult - they say they can handle the good stuff....then when push comes to shove - you know they are lying through their tiny little teeth - and then they look like a bag of spanners and bust sofas the next day.
It's a difficult life living with a druggie. It so is.
